It was funny, the way they worked. Everybody judged them (especially Donovan. Anderson too, but that was for another reason). Sherlock would go around deducing people and John would help him. Sure, they were like two different galaxies. They fought too. But all friends fight. Mrs. Hudson knew, more than the rest of the world did, exactly how perfect they were for each other. So they might fight and the world might judge but they were who they were. They were the psychopathic (a high-functioning sociopath, Sherlock would always correct) consulting detective and his slightly more agreeable blogger. Everyone liked John, he was just…likable. He was friendly, saying his 'good-mornings' and 'we offer our condolences' to the victims' families (when the victims died). On the other hand, Sherlock just blazed through, saying things that people don't appreciate (although they are true). Everyone thought that they were the impossible pair, yet nobody could contradict the fact that they worked perfectly with each other. Not even Donovan. But she would never admit anything. Especially the fact that she sort of admired Sherlock's ability. Oh, no, Sergeant Donovan would never admit to anything.
