Sherlock was in his mind palace thinking about a case. Well, he was trying to but his mind kept filling with thoughts of a certain pathologist.

"Sherlock, you need to focus." Mind Palace Molly said. "It does you no good thinking about her. I mean, me."

"I'm trying to focus. It's your fault I am this way. You keep infiltrating my mind palace." Sherlock argued.

"No. It isn't my fault. I am a figment of your creation. What I am saying, you are thinking which is quite idiotic of you."

"Stop being rude. Molly is nice. You are mean." Sherlock scolded.

"Real Molly is nice because she is Molly. I am rude because you created me and you are rude." Mind Palace Molly argued.

"You're right." Sherlock said.

Mind Palace Molly rolled her eyes. "Of course I'm right. I'm you, moron."

"Tell me what I have to do to get rid of you." Sherlock said.

"Tell me how you feel, and by me I mean real Molly." Mind Palace Molly replied.

"That is not an option." Sherlock said.

Mind Palace Molly slapped him. "Have I ever steered you wrong?"

Sherlock remembered how she saved his life when he was shot. "I guess not, but like you said, you are me with a different look."

"So, what you are thinking is exactly what you want to do. Now, focus on the task at hand." Mind Palace Molly slapped him again.

"Fine. I'm going right now."

Sherlock sat up from his position on the couch.

"Sherlock, you alright mate? You seemed to be having some inner conflict over there." John asked.

"What? Yes, Mind Palace Molly is mean. I need to go talk to real Molly." Without another word, he left.

"He has a Mind Palace Molly? She must have talked sense into him." John thought.

Sherlock burst through the morgue doors.

"Molly, I need to speak to you before you slap me again!" Sherlock shouted.

The pathologist turned around in surprise. The detective in front of her looked flustered which never happened.

"Sherlock, what are you talking about. I haven't slapped you since I found drugs in your system." Molly said.

"Oh, not you. Mind Palace Molly. She's mean. She told me that I should tell you that I am in love with you and have been in love with you for the last three years. She told me that I needed to tell you all of that immediately. So, there. I've said it." Sherlock exhaled sharply.

Molly couldn't figure out what shocked her most. The fact that Sherlock had a Mind Palace version of her that he talked to on a regular basis, or that he had just revealed his feelings for her. She decided she didn't care about either, and threw caution to the wind. She kissed him.

"Well, this went better than I thought." Sherlock said once they pulled apart.

"Maybe you should listen to Mind Palace Me more often." Molly said.

Sherlock looked horrified. "No. I am never talking to Mind Palace You again. She is mean."

Molly giggled.
