Even as the times change, some things never do. In this ever-spinning, ever-changing world, I find there to be many constants that never do. The seasons, nature, rocks and earth, and the most chilling or all, war. War, they say, never changes. Ina way, that is true. The blood and death, the hate and terror, the comradery and friendship made during it are the ever constant feelings that remain. Yet, of course like the seasons, nature, rocks and earth, it also changes quickly, so, so quickly.

I am so, so tired. I have walked this world too long to remember. I remember when there were great cities, shining beacons of faith and love that were torn down to destruction and decay. I remember when there were great universities, which studied the mysterious and magical, brought down by the very magic they were studying. I remember when…

When there were gods that roamed with the men of this earth, Giants they were. I remember striking each of them down, putting down their rabid selves. I remember each and every nation that rose and fell in the time after. Each as majestic and long lived as the last. I remember them falling.

I remember the saints. I remember their very faces, but never their names. Their names are too sacred for me to remember (By the gods I wish I could, but I never can.)

I remember being a father, once. My child, my very soul and substance is dead, never to return. I wish I could remember anything about him (Oh god why can't I remember?)

I remember the wars. I remember all of them. The details of why they were fought are lost to me, but I can remember the emotions running through their faces (Each one more terrified that the last.) they called me a Giant, a father of death that left none in his wake (the bodies, oh god the bodies.)

In this new world, my legend is all but forgotten, but I remain. It is quite funny though. Though the stories are forgotten, legends never die.

Well, that was my first story, try and guess who it was. Either way, please review to tell me what you think and give some improvements to any stories that I decide to type up in about 15 minutes like I did this one.
