What's That Word?
(*)
What's that word?
The one that describes how you feel about him,
How you look up to him, and always want to be around him,
How when he smiles at you,
You're heart skips a beat.
What's that word?
Oh,
Right,
It's called love.
(*)
What's that word?
The one that describes the feeling when you see the one you love,
With someone else,
Someone who's perfect in every way,
And who he looks at the way you wished he looked at you.
What's that word?
Oh,
Right,
It's called jealousy.
(*)
What's that word?
The one that describes the feeling that drags you down,
When you realize that she is a nice person,
Who loves him more than you ever could,
And isn't perfect after all.
What's that word?
Oh,
Right,
It's called guilt.
(*)
What's that word?
The one that is exactly what your family wanted you not to be,
But you let yourself become it anyway,
Just because you fell in love with him,
And gave up because he loved someone else.
What's that word?
Oh,
Right,
It's called weak.

A/N: Well, I guess you could call this a free-verse. I'm not really sure what it is, I just had an urge to write it. I really don't know if I like it or not. I'll just let you decide that.
Anyway you're probably wondering what this poem is about. So here's an explanation:
This is in Reagan's POV, and it takes place a good many years after the clue hunt. Reagan has fallen in love with Dan, but he loves someone else, and Reagan becomes jealous. Over time though, Reagan gets to know the girl better, and she realizes that she judged the girl falsely. This makes Reagan feel guilty and she decides it's best for her to just give up on her love for Dan, although that doesn't change the fact that she believes she has now become weak.
Wow, that wasn't a very good summary. Thanks for reading and please review.
