"Damn", Elizabeth thought to herself as she looked out at the sea. Why did some things just not go right? She never screwed up! She always made the right decision. At least that's what she had thought. Today, possibly the worst day of her life, was horrible. First, her alarm clock didn't go off, and she was an hour late to her first briefing. Second, John's team had left on a mission, and were attacked by a group of wraith. Third, all her reports had gone missing, and she had all the people available to help her find it. In the end, they were found in her desk drawer! And fourth, Colonel Caldwell came to her office in the afternoon, finding her almost dead asleep at her desk. "God this day sucked, she said allowed thinking no one was around.

"Really?. I though this was a great day!" John Sheppard said as he walked onto the balcony.

"Don't mock my bad luck."

"Who said anything about mocking you?"

"This day was horrible," Elizabeth said, letting out a huge sigh.

"Yeah, well everyone has one of those days once in a while."

"This was extra bad"

The two sat in silence for a few minutes, each wondering if this day could get any worse.

"You know, whenever I have a bad day, not saying I have them very often... Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "I usually do something I like to do, and enjoy a lot."

"Like what?"

"I read, or watch a movie, sleep, eat. They both laughed.

"See", he said,"you're already getting happier."

Elizabeth smiled at John, and he smiled back. They smiled at each other for some time, until they realized that they looked really stupid.

Elizabeth noticed first this, and turned to look at the sea, blushing. John noticed this, and turned away too. He was very excited to see Elizabeth blush.

"Hmmm", he thought to himself,"does she like me?"

"Well, I guess I could try looking at the stars. I haven't really looked at the Pegasus's solar system", Elizabeth said, interrupting his thoughts.

"Sure, can I looked with you."

"That would be great."

They both turned their heads up to looked at the night sky.

"It's pretty, she said.

"Yeah,yo...it is.

"Elizabeth giggled,"nice save."

John looked at her and winked,"Thank you, Thank you very much."

She leaned against the wrailing on the balcony, and looked back up at the sky. John followed suit, leaning close to Elizabeth.
slowly he moved his hand next to Elizabeth's and took hold of it. She pretended not to notice, and looked up at the stars. But, as much as she tried to ignore it, she soon found herself moving closer to him. When Elizabeth was extremely close to John he put his arm around her shoulder, and as they sat there looking at the stars, she thought to herself,"This was a great day."
