"Come on, Remus!"

"I'm coming, Dora!"

"Well not very fast." Dora muttered to herself. They meant to have left half an hour ago, but various problems had restricted them; including lost keys, lost wands and missing orange children.

Suddenly, mid mutter, her husband appeared next to her. His face was painted white and he had old grey robes fastened around him with a white plastic skull.

"Ready?" she asked him,

"Yep!"

"Have you got the child?" she asked, to which Remus's pale face lit up.

"Right here, m'love!" and he swung round and reached down, a soft gurgling noise was came from his hands; and when he turned around again, there was a small baby in his arms, its plump body stuffed into the costume of a fat orange pumpkin, and his face, also orange, poked out of the top of the pumpkin and giggled at his mother, his tiny mouth in an evil smile. Dora shook her head and picked him up and out of Remus's arms.

"Nice costume" Remus commented, nodding at the black dress and robes that his wife was wearing. Her hair was also black, and tied up in a tight bun. Her face was adorned with whiskers, freckles and a small pink nose. She smiled up at his face and kissed his cheek.

"Ready?" she asked, and he nodded. They opened their door and set out into the frosty night, the night that would be their last Halloween.
