Nutty Attack.

Katherine "Kitty" Pryde was sitting under a tree in the grounds of the institute happily typing an e-mail to her parents.

"Dear Mum and Dad.

Im having a great time at school. Everyone is really nice. But Mr Logan still goes off on his lone wolf thing that he does. There isnt much to talk about because nothing has happened except I have broken three more computers at school and also that no-one wants to try any of my cooking and im not sure why.

Just as she was about about to press the send button she felt something land on her head. She jumped up and started screaming. All the other X-Men were walking past her and weren't even going to help her. "Like get it off me, its in my hair, Oh my god its like totally gonna ruin my hair".

Just as she got her fingers around the small fuzzy creature she felt another two land on her back.

Rouge was sitting on the steps of the mansion and saw her friend Kitty typing on her laptop. She diverted her eyes for just a second and when she looked back she saw her jump up and try to pull something out of her hair.

Rouge was about to get up when she saw two small furry blurs jump on her friends back. Rouge doubled over with laughter as her roommate shrieked with terror.

Kitty managed to remove the thing on her head and held it in front of her. It was a squirrel. She was being attacked by squirrels. She dropped the one she held in her hands and then concentrated on removing the squirrels on her back.

After managing to remove the small creatures off her back she looked down and saw five squirrels run off with her laptop. "Help, Thieving Squirrels". With that she began to chase them.

Rouge managed to stop laughing enough to see Kitty get the animals off her back .Out of the corner of her eye she saw the creatures lift the laptop onto thier backs and start moving slowly towards the forest. Then Kitty shouted "Help, Thieving Squirrels" and ran off into the woods after her laptop.

Rouge got up and decided to help her after giggling for a little bit and jogged towards the forest to find and help Kitty. While she was jogging she heard a few students talking and making fun of Kitty. Rouge ran up up to one of them and punched them in the face, flooring them. The student looked at her "What the fuck". Rouge just stopped turned around and walked towards them.

"Dont make fun of my friends, Ok or else ah will beat you with a pole until you bleed to death"

The mutant on the ground was speechless and the other mutants around him just started backing off.

Kitty was running through the forest screaming at the squirrels. "give me back my laptop you stupid, thieving, little balls of fur". Rouge ran up next to her and casually as possible asked what happened. "My laptop was like stolen by squirrels who totally wont give it back" Rouge tried to stifle a giggle."Its like so not funny Rouge" Rouge was pretty sure it was but she wasnt going to tell her that.

They managed to corner the squirrels at the fence of the institute. "Ok give me back my laptop you asshats" The squirrels just dropped it and scrambled under the fence.

Rouge went over and picked it up. "It doesnt look too bad Kitty". Kitty took the laptop from her and sent her e-mail.

While they were walking back Rouge decided to end the silence. "You know Kitty, It was kinda funny". "It was like so not funny" Rouge looked at her in disbelief. "Are you telling me that if you saw a person get attacked and have theyre laptop stolen by squirrels, you wouldnt laugh". Kitty reached up, grapped a squirrel and phased it through Rouges top. "Youre right it is pretty funny"

Kitty walked away as Rouge started to shout and swear at the squirrel.
