Feliciano skipped up to Ludwig and Kiku, chirping, "Ve~ Good morning~!"
Ludwig scowled, "Go avay. Can't you see ve're busy?" Truth be told, they weren't doing anything important, but he wanted the annoying Italian to leave him alone.
"Busy with what? Can I help?" Feli smiled hopefully.
"No. You'd just mess it up."
"Then can I watch?"
"Maybe you shourd go pray with your friends," Kiku interjected.
Feliciano sighed and turned away. But I don't have any friends... He sent one last longing look at Ludwig, who was everything the Italian wished he could be - strong, smart, respected - and who he loved. He couldn't say anything, though; the German made it clear that he thought of Feliciano as an annoying little weakling. He had a crushing certainty that if he confessed his feelings, they would be ripped apart and thrown in the dirt to die.
He looked around at all the people he knew, all the people who scorned and despised him, with a single wish.
I would do anything to be loved.
Anything? a voice whispered back at him. I can give you everything you want.
Really? You can? The thought that he must be insane to be hearing voices never crossed his mind. What do I need to do?
You must only give up yourself.
... Very well. I accept. I don't have anything to lose anyway.
=^w^=
Feliciano stood alone in the dark, lonely castle he shared with his brother, the only thing left from their grandfather's successful days. Back when someone cared about him. Now his nonno was gone, vanished without a trace, and his brother and everyone else hated him, but he was about to cut all ties to the person he used to be. He removed the last portrait of himself from the wall and stared at it consideringly before feeding it to the roaring fire. He left it to burn with the rest, striding to his room to retrieve his diary, then returning to throw it, too, into the fireplace. The flames licked hungrily at the paper, which obediently curled and turned black before disappearing into a cloud of ash. Feli gazed into the dancing inferno, the occasional leaping sparks shining brightly before fading from existence.
When he turned away, he was a different person.
"From now on… I will go by Luciano," he announced aloud to the silent castle, blinking open his eyes, which had changed from their normal amber color to a purplish hue.
=^w^=
A day later, a knock echoed throughout the halls. Luciano opened the door to see Antonio, who was Lovino's boyfriend. A pang of envy arose in him, but only for a moment.
"Hola, is Lovi here?" Those were the first words out of the Spaniard's mouth.
"No, sorry, he disappeared in the middle on the night." The corners of Luciano's lips turned upwards in a smirk. "But you could stay here with me if you like," he added, extending his hand to the other.
Antonio was enchanted. Yes, enchanted was the right word, for he had no choice in the matter. He was hopelessly infatuated, and so much so that he couldn't even spare a thought to think of what could have happened to his Lovino, or even what was different about the person in front of him. "Si… I will stay." Toni reached out and took the hand Luciano offered.
This was just the first of many such encounters.

Luciano smiled as he pulled Ludwig into an embrace and kissed him just as he'd always wanted to. Since that time a few weeks ago, he rarely left his home. Why would he, when everything he wanted was there? He had been building up a sort of reverse harem, and although he had initially just wanted his Luddy, he found that he rather enjoyed having everyone who had laughed at and ridiculed him under his spell.
He whispered in the German's ear, "I'll be spending more time with you tonight, si?"
Ludwig smiled, actually smiled, "I look forward to it."
As soon as he was alone, Luciano started laughing to himself. Whoever said a deal with the devil was a bad thing clearly just wanted to keep his good fortune to himself. His laughter escalated until it was a mad cackle echoing throughout the halls, a sharp contrast with the delicate piano music drifting through the air. He wasn't even worried that his collection would hear and think he was insane; every man who laid eyes on him was instantly enchanted, and none would ever be able to leave him no matter what happened.

A knock echoed throughout Luciano's castle, and he answered it promptly to find a vaguely familiar girl with dark reddish-brown hair and green eyes smiling at him. He blinked in surprise, as he had primarily gotten male lovers so far, but he wasn't opposed to having a female guest if one came along. He extended his arms and pulled her into an embrace. Suddenly there was a sharp, stabbing pain, and he crumpled, looking down in surprise to see a knife protruding from his chest. In that moment, he realized who the girl was.
"Sorella…" he whispered.
"You're no brother of mine," she hissed.
As Luciano lay there dying, his spell faded and the members of his reverse harem came to their senses and fled. Last to leave was Ludwig, who looked with disgust at the Italian who had stolen his heart without his agreement. Luciano weakly reached toward him, pain written all over his face, his lips forming words that he had no breath to utter. Per favore, don't go… I didn't even get to tell you I love you…
The girl stayed by his side after everyone else was long gone. She had come because someone she cared deeply about had disappeared because of this monster and stabbed him with a poisoned knife for the same reason, but now tears rolled down her cheeks. She could not have allowed this to continue, but she wished he did not have to die. She had loved him.
