Sam and Brooke were famous for their constant glaring. It went on all the time, in the halls, at lunch, during class, and anyone would bet it continued on at home. It all started when they found out they were stepsisters and from that day forward whenever they came into the sight of one another the hateful glares would start.
Kennedy High students couldn't believe it the day it happened. Sam and Brooke were walking in opposite directions in the hall and when they passed each other the glares continued so Sam didn't notice the open locker door until she walked into it and got knocked down. When it happened Brooke immediately ran over to Sam.
"Oh my God, Sam! Are you okay?" asked Brooke while trying to help Sam up.
Sam just replied, "Yeah, I'm fine, but we really need to stop doing this."
Since they were being watched by everyone in the hall some random student asked, "You guys are going to stop your glaring?"
Sam got a confused look on her face and said, "What glaring? I'm talking about our staring contests, they are really starting to get dangerous."
Brooke just bobbed her head and said, "I agree, I think we should discontinue our hallway and classroom contests and only continue with lunch time matches. Agreed?"
"Agreed," Sam said.
"You do know that since you broke eye contact first that it's one to me." Brooke smirked.
"What, no! Any match interrupted by outside influences is grounds for a rematch," Sam argued while they started walking down the hall.
The argument of who won the match continued all the way down the hall while everyone just kept watching them. They were too stunned to do anything, it was like everything they thought they knew about the world just got turned on its head.
The End
