Hello there, my name is Shearstar. Do you want to hear the story of how I became leader ? Well then settle down with your prey and listen.

My father Furystar,leader of Owlfurclan, was wrestling with Leopardstar,the Riverclan leader. "Why did you kill Crookedstar?" she yowled. "What are you talking about Leopardstar. I know we didn't get along but that doesn't mean I killed him."my dad protested. "Right, like I'm going to believe that, Furystar." she spat back. "You'll pay for what you did!" Then with a flash of claws, Leopardstar killed him.

I was fighting Mistyfoot while I watched all this. "No!" I cried. I pushed Mistyfoot off me and ran to my father. He really was dead. Then Leopardstar attacked me. "Why, hello Shearclaw.I'm sorry about your father. You know,I never really liked him anyways." Leopardstar meowed. "My father never killed Crookedstar." I hissed. "Really?" "He never did ." I growled. Then,I hissed and raked her belly. She yowled in pain, but didn't let go. Then, I saw Greenleaf, my sister, attack Leopardstar and clawed her muzzle. I let Greenleaf deal with her for a while.

Then I heard a shrill cry from the nursery. " Blackclaw." I meowed in alarm. I ran to the nursery and saw Stonefur attacking Blackclaw. The black queen was trying to protect her newborn kit, Orangekit. They were from Halloweenclan. " Get your watery- paws of Blackclaw." I hissed. I jumped squarely on his shoulders and clawed his back. He yowled and threw me off his back and fled Mistyfoot was soon followed. " Blackclaw, are you ok?" I asked. "Yes,I'm fine. Me and my kit are safe." She meowed. She dipped her head respectfully and stepped into the nursery. " Shearclaw!" ,Greenleaf wailed. " I'm coming Greenleaf." When I got to Greenleaf Leopardstar was about to do same thing she did to my father.

"Hello again, Shearclaw. It's so sad to see someone die in front of you, especially your family- and leader." When she said (leader) she looked over at Furystar. She was probably thinking about Crookedstar too. "You lay one claw on my sister and I swear on Starclan I'll kill you!" I hissed. "Really?" she meowed ,her eyes narrowing to slits. She unsheathed her claws,lifted her paw and looked at me with hostile eyes. But right when she was about to attack, I pounced on her. "No!, I yowled, don't touch my sister."

My cry stopped everyone in mid-fight. Even Oneclaw stopped with a paw in mid-air and claws unsheathed. I didn't care that everybody was looking at me surprised. Then, I turned to Leopardstar with blue fire burning in my eyes. "You and your clan, all of them, get out of my territory. Now." I hissed angrily. "Wait, how do you own all this now?" Leopardstar asked confused. " Because I was deputy." I replied coldly.

Leopardstar froze, her eyes wide. "I should have killed Greenleaf first. Then she wouldn't have stopped me from killing you. Then I would've killed Furystar last. Then with all you gone Owlfurclan would be without leader and deputy." she yowled. "Get off my territory." I spat back , " Now!" I let go of Leopardstar and she yowled, "Riverclan retreat." then when the rest of the clan had gone she meowed, " This isn't the last you'll see of Riverclan." Then, she turned and stalked away.

I went to Hightstones that night,I got my nine lives and my leader name, Shearstar. Moons after the battle, during leaf-bare, my mother, Honeyflower died of greencough. But I had a new duty. A leader. I chose Soren, the owl, as deputy but got killed by a dog. Then I chose Greenleaf as the new deputy and eventually I got killed by a Shadowclan tom,and lost my last life and Greenleaf became Greenstar, and chose Swifttail as deputy.
