For One Last Time
"Naruto! No, don't! Stop!" yelled Kakashi. Naruto gone entered Kyuubi mode when trying to kill Pein. Currently with four tails, he had become unstoppable. His only thought was to murder Pein, and that was it. He didn't care who he injured, let alone killed during his rampage.
Reaching out with a chakra hand, Naruto swiped Kakashi aside and bared his teeth at the man who dared try to stop him.
Kakashi got up, hair badly singed and hopes crushed. He knew that Naruto couldn't control himself when he had four tails, but he thought Naruto had been working on that! He supposedly mastered it last week! Unless, he was lying… that wouldn't surprise him. Naruto did anything just so he could fight one of the Akatsuki who had hurt Gaara.
He sighed, thinking of all the times he and Naruto had worked together. The truth was, Kakashi hadn't really spent that much time with Naruto. All his attention had always been focused on Sasuke. This was another one of the times that he regretted making that decision in life.
Looking up, Kakashi saw Pein escape Naruto's chakra tail and leap into the tall trees behind him. A frustrated Kyuubi-Naruto turned on the person closest to him: Kakashi.
Claws outstretched, Naruto charged at Kakashi. As Kakashi dodged the claw, Naruto quickly changed direction and struck Kakashi on the shoulder, leaving a bloody mess.
Kakashi gasped as the vile chakra seared his skin and started to spread through his body. As he staggered to his feet he was attacked again by Naruto, this time with the tail. On one hand, he didn't get ripped apart. On the other, Naruto's tail was far more powerful than his claws.
For one last time, Kakashi pulled himself off the ground and turned to confront Naruto.
For one last time, Kakashi looked into Naruto's burning eyes. They were bright red, no sign of blue at all.
For one last time, Naruto punched Kakashi in the chest which left a MASSIVE wound on him. With that last attack, Kakashi's life faded away.
And for one last time, Naruto glared into Kakashi's eyes, hate boiling within because of all those times he hadn't been there when he needed him.
