Angel sat on his couch, a book open in his hands. He enjoyed reading during the day. There weren't many interruptions, unlike once the sunset. Reading helped fight the loneliness. Made it a little easier. Especially around Christmas time.

His head went up when he heard his door open. He didn't even turn around to face the footsteps. He looks back at his book.

"Hello, Faith."

She stands behind him, her arms crossed over her chest, a smirk on her lips.*

"Merry Christmas, big guy."

He glared at his book.

"Nothing merry about it. What do you want, Faith?"

She walked over to the couch, sitting at his feet. She stretched her arms above her head.

"Awe, don't be like that, Angel. Aren't you happy to see me?"

He looks up at her, trying not to smile.

"What do you want, Faith?"

She tilts her head and smirks.

"I want my Christmas present."

He furrows his brow, looking confused.

"What? I don't have anything for you."

He sits up and closes his book, putting it on the table in front of the couch. Trying not to look at Faith. Not wanting his eyes to wander. He looked down, trying to fight his feelings.

"Awe come on, Angel. Don't be like that. Don't tell me you forgot about our...time together."

She slide a hand up his back, over his shoulder and down his chest. Moving closer too him.

He looks down at her hand, reaching up to touch it with his own. A heavy sigh leaving him.

"No. I haven't forgotten. But, we can't do that again, Faith."

She starts kissing his neck, putting her other arm over his shoulder. Kissing up to his ear and nipping his earlobe. Whispering in his ear.

"But I've been good this year..."

His eyes close as he tries to fight the urge to take her in his arms. A small groan escaping his lips.

"Faith..."

She got up, climbing onto his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"It's okay, Angel..."

She leans in and kisses him. Softly at first. Then when he puts his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him, she kisses him more hungrily. Her hands running through his hair as she grinds herself against him. Their soft, quiet moans filling the room. Angel lifts her up, spinning them around so that he was on top of her and in between her legs. He pulls away from the kiss and looks down at her flushed, smiling face.

"Faith...We can't..."

She puts her finger over his lips. Smiling the sweetest smile he has ever seen.

"Shhh...Angel...Unwrap your Christmas gift."

She puts her arms back around his neck and pulls him back down to her, kissing him with pure passion and desire. He accepted this kiss, right away. Loving the way she made him feel. Wanted. Worth something. Warm.

He could love her if she let him. He could love her.

Angel was enjoying this Christmas.
