Today was my best friend Akari's wedding. I yawned as I finished getting into my cocktail dress. When Luna, her and I went bridesmaid dress shopping, she had picked out our dresses already. She picked a pretty pink dress for Luna and an alluring red dress for me. I was in love with it.

After I tamed my blonde hair into a braid, I hurried down stairs. Already waiting for me was Owen. He was wearing a black tux and a red tie that matched my dress to a T. "Hello beautiful." He said, giving me a soft kiss on my lips. "Thanks shug!" I say, hugging him. "Oh yeah. I got this for you." Owen said, pulling out a red hibiscus flower. "Oh Owen! Thank you!" I say, tucking it behind my ear. "You ready?" He asked, holding out his hand. "Yes." I said, taking hold of his hand as we walked to the church.

"You may kiss the bride!" Hamilton exclaimed. As soon as he said that, Akari practically jumped onto Luke as they kissed passionately. Luna and I jumped out of our seats and hollered. Only Akari and Luke would do such a thing.

Towards the end of the after party, Akari announced she was going to toss her bouquet. So Candace, Luna, Renee, Phoebe and I all gathered behind her. As Akari was getting ready, I noticed that all the other girls were straying away from the middle, where I was. Didn't they want to catch the bouquet? Instead, they all gathered behind me.

"One, two, THREE!" Akari yelled as she threw her bouquet. It was going towards Luna. However, she stepped aside and didn't hold out her hands. So I took the opportunity and raced in to catch it.

I had caught it! "I caught it yall!" I yelled. I then looked around to notice everybody looking at me and smiling. "What's wrong yall?" I asked, looking at the other girls. I watched as they stepped aside and let Owen through. "Good job Kathy!" He said, coming up and hugging me. "What's going on shug?" I asked, looking at him with a confused look. "Well, you know that whoever catches the bouquet is the next to be married, right?" He asked. "Yeah… Why?" I asked, still confused.

He smiled as he got down on one knee and pulled out a blue feather. "Well, Kathy, Will you marry me?" He asked, looking right into my eyes. I was shocked. "Y-Yes!" I squealed, throwing myself around him. Everybody was clapping when Akari and Luke walked up to this. "Akari, did you plan this?" I squealed, hugging my best friend. "Actually, Owen asked me to. How could I say no to something so sweet?"

"Thank you shug!" I say, giving the biggest smile ever. I turn to Owen and give him a sexy kiss. "Thank you honey. This is the best day of my life. First I see my best friend get married, then I find out I'm getting married to the best person in the world!" I say, giving him another kiss. "I'm glad you're happy sweetie." He whispers, hugging me tight.

So when Julius came to me a week before my wedding and asked if he could do the same thing for Candace, I knew that this was going to become a waffle island tradition.

I hoped you liked this! I wrote this in a rush because I had thought of the idea while writing my other fan fiction.
