Never
Disclaimer: I do not own Les-Miserables in anyway.
She held his hand,
They were white now,
Her eyes lingered on the land,
His face was at peace,
Her heart skipped a beat,
Her heart was in a freeze,
"Don't give in." someone said,
"Accept that he is dead."
She couldn't forget those happy days,
When they could just talk,
Those lovely Aprils, and beautiful Mays,
The coffin was lowered,
The priest muttered a prayer,
The coffin closed, she cowered,
The dirt was dropped into the hole,
Each clump hit, and seemed to say never,
Never, never, never, the bell did toll,
Forever gone, forever pain,
You can not go back to those happy days,
The grave erected the went down the lane,
"You alright?" her husband asked,
To just answer him was a task,
"He's gone." She managed to say,
He rubbed her hand, it was cold,
She turned her head, and watched the trees sway,
Never, never, never, each bump said,
Never, never, never each bird called,
Forever, forever, forever, her heart cried,
Forever dead.
