Isn't this couple adorable? I like it much better than LoLu. Hope ya like it! :D
Loke hated it when Aries said sorry.
She never had anything to be sorry about. She was kind, caring, and helpful. Why should she be sorry for being amazing? If anything, she should be sorry for saying sorry, because she'd just helped to the best of her ability and given Lucy the extra minute she needed to finish off the enemy. She saved Lucy, really. But she was still murmuring sorry as she faded back into the spirit world.
Loke watched her talk with the other spirits with growing irritation. After nearly everything she said, after every compliment she received, she'd mumble sorry and avert her gaze from everyone, like she was beneath them or something. And that definitely wasn't true. At least, not to Loke.
"…and you didn't even mess up your hair!" Lyra was saying. "That's amazing, Aries! You were wonderful!"
"S-Sorry…"
Loke scowled.
"And the way you used your appearance to your advantage was really smart," commented Aquarius, patting Aries on her head as if she were an elder to her. "Good job, lamb."
"Sorry," said Aries.
"Plus your appearance isn't bad-ebi!" grinned Cancer.
"Sorry," whispered Aries.
That was it. Loke took off his sunglasses and said, "Aries, for the love of God, stop saying sorry!"
Everyone stood shocked for a moment. Then Aries opened her mouth and Loke just knew what was going to come out of it, so he went on quickly. "You have nothing to be sorry about. Especially not your looks. You're amazing, and the only thing that'd make you even more amazing would be if you knew that. So, please, stop saying sorry."
As he'd spoke, the other spirits had quietly snuck off, till it was just Loke and Aries standing there. Aries was frowning, looking troubled, Loke struggling to make her look him in the eyes by sheer longing.
Then, suddenly, the frown vanished and she met his eyes. For the first time in a while, he saw her genuinely smile. "Okay, Leo!" she said happily, and, without any warning, jumped towards him and pressed her lips against his.
"I won't say sorry," she said as she pulled back, giggling at his stunned look, "is because I'm not sorry for that."
"Good." And he kissed her again.
