Mowgli Meets Seven-Claw
By Alan Bishop
One day, two years after Mowgli defeated Shere Khan, Mowgli was walking in the forest. While he was walking he found a trail of tiger footprints and decided to follow them.
"I wonder where they go?" thought Mowgli.
After following the footprints for about two miles he found that they ended at a tree.
"Huh, what..."
Before he could finish, a huge tiger came slashing and clawing at him as he jumped down from the bottom of the tree. Mowgli had a huge slash in his face and lost consciousness for about a minute. He woke up to a tiger on top of him. Thinking quickly he kicked the tiger and ran. He saw a fallen branch, picked it up and swung at the tiger.
"I am Shere Khan's brother, Seven-Claw. You killed my brother; now it's your time to die Mowgli," the tiger cried, his voice filled with rage.
"What! Shere Khan has a brother?" Mowgli said shocked.
"Yes!" the tiger hissed and bared his teeth.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!"
"Dang, it's a trap!"
"Say goodbye, Mowgli."
Suddenly more tigers jumped out of the bushes and pounced on Mowgli, but he was ready.
Crack!
For the next few minutes the tigers and Mowgli fought while Seven- Claw watched.
When it was over Mowgli was badly injured and seventeen of the twenty tigers were dead. The remaining three tigers ran away.
"You are stronger than I thought!" said Seven-Claw.
Before he could say any more, Mowgli hit him with the branch repeatedly.
Crack! Whack! Crack!
Seven-Claw fell down on the ground, so Mowgli started to walk back to his house a cave when Seven-Claw got back up.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he said as Seven-Claw slashed him up.
Just then an elephant came stomping in. It was Mowgli's friend Fast Trunk.
"I was looking for you, Mowgli," stated Fast-Trunk while running.
Just then the three tigers burst in and, luckily for Mowgli and Fast-Trunk, they had no reinforcements. Thinking quickly, Fast-Trunk remembered that he had a trunk full of water. He also remembered that cats hate water and since tigers are cats he sprayed all the water at them. They screamed, well, whatever tigers do instead of screaming. They came running at him.
"Okay, you're not afraid of water. Should we run now?"
"Probably," commented one of the tigers before beginning a high speed chase.
While Mowgli was running he tripped on a log.
"Shoot!"
Fast Trunk rushed at the tigers in a desperate attempt to lure them off so that Mowgli could get away.
"Mowgli, run!" Fast Trunk panted.
Before Mowgli could say anything he found out that he had tripped on a spear not a log! He picked it up and rushed at the tigers.
"Take this, you striped fur heads," he yelled.
The spear hit the lady tiger in the eye, and blood gushed everywhere. The other two tigers stood in shock. Thinking on his feet, Mowgli grabbed the spear and stabbed one of them. The other who was the youngest, ran away in fright of the fearsome warrior Mowgli.
"So Fast-Trunk are you ready to go home?"
"Yep, same condition as always. We tell no one what happened."
"Exactly, my fair elephant friend," he said as they walked away into the sunset.
Just then Seven-Claw jumped in front of him and cried, "Hey, how stupid are you? Did you really forget that your rival was still out there lurking?"
"It's kind of hard to do that with you in my face."
For the next five minutes they sat there staring at each other.
BLINK BLONK BLINK
Then they slowly walked away in separate ways until…
"Bedtime, Alan, now!"
"But Dad, I'm not done with my homework."
His father glances at the computer and says, "It looks done to me. Now get in bed; it's a school night."
"All right." Alan turns off the computer and that's
THE END!
