Lucy walked out of the guild hall, smiling. Today had been a good day. Suddenly, she jumped. A spurt of fire went over her head.
"Natsu!" the pink haired boy rushed toward her.
"Hey, Lucy! Can we talk?"
"Sure, Natsu! Here, one second!" Lucy set down Loki's key wearily. Natsu laughed and dragged her over to a secluded corner of Magnolia.
"Ya wanna come eat with me?"
"Ok! Let me go get Loki! Where's Happy, by the way?"
"Oh! He's...um…" Natsu pushed on his mobile pocket. Finally, Happy pushed out.
"Natsu LOVES you!" Lucy blushed.
"I'm sure that's not true, Happy."
"He wanted to go with you ALONE!"
"Then he can."
Natsu smiled and grabbed Lucy's wrist. Lucy blushed and laughed as they ran down Magnolia.
"So. Where to, Natsu?"
"I thought we'd eat at the cafe in the guild hall!" Lucy outright laughed and let him drag her to the outdoor cafe of the new, improved Fairy Tail. He set some jule on the table, but the waitor wouldn't except.
"Natsu, today, you eat free." he said, eyeing Lucy. Natsu just smiled and ate the matches on the table. Lucy blushed and ordered a burger.
"So, is your rent okay? You haven't freaked out in at least a month."
"HEY! I DO NOT FREAK OUT-ohhh."
"Heh heh."
"Natsu, is there a reason you invited me-and tried to pay?!"
"LUCY I REALLY LIKE YOU AND…YEAH! BYE!" Lucy blushed.
"I like you, too." she whispered as Natsu ran off.
