I know there are many stories about how Luke and Lorelai got back together, but I think my way is just a little bit different. Oh, and on my other stories, I have no idea where to go, I haven't update one for like 6 months and the other maybe 3 weeks, so help me, or I may never get them done, and even I hate unfinished fics, but, I don't know where to go with them. Please tell me what you want. And this is a oneshot.

It's been one week, one week since they broke up. One week since he broke her heart in that Doose's isle. One week of seeing those damn ribbons. Boy did she hate those ribbons, and she hated Taylor for making them.

She would be walking down the street and then she would see either a pink or blue ribbon. Gypsy was pink, Andrew was blue, and Kirk was, well Kirk couldn't make up his mind, so he didn't choose one or the other. He would wear a blue one in the diner and a pink one to the Inn. She didn't hate the people who wore blue, and didn't love those who wore pink, she just wanted it to all be over.

Lorelai was getting either looks of sympathy, or a 'go to hell' glare. She really wanted to go away, get away from the craziness she onced loved.

She heard Luke wasn't doing well either, he was throwing people out of the diner, his food was terrible, he was losing buisness. Lane was afraid of losing her job because of Luke's hostility. Lorelai didn't want Luke's to go out of buisiness, she just wantes everything to go back to normal. She wanted Luke.

She wished she could just walk in like any other day, kiss him over the counter, and geta decent cup of coffee and a good meal. She desired to touch him, have him hold her at night, make love to her once again. She wanted to have him back.

And she was going to do something about it. But what? What could she do? He was angry with her, and was probably pissed at the ribbon, too. He kicked anyone out that wore a pink ribbon in his diner. Thos ribbons were so stupid, it wasn't anybody's buisness about their relationship, or lack of one. Those stupid ribbons...those ribbons...pink and blue.

Pink for Lorelai, and Blue for Luke...anyone who like Lorelai wore pink and anyone who liked Luke wore blue. She got it, she knew how shw could get Luke back, and how everything might go back to normal. She needed ribbon, lots and lots of blue ribbon.

The next day, Lorelai walked out of her house, and closed the door, the door that was covered with a blue ribbon. She walked pasted her mailbox that stood with a blue ribbon on the side. She walked down the street, in her extra tight jeans, his favorite shirt, and a blue ribbon placed right over her chest. Everyone watched as the crossed the town square with a blue ribbon.

The ring of the bell anounced her arrival. He didn't even look up from the counter, where he was leaning on it. Lorelai went straight up to the counter, "Luke, I need a cup of coffee."

He came face to face with her blue ribbon. Then up to her eyes.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm supporting my side, I want the blue to win, I want you Luke, I want everything to be blue, no pink, Luke, you win, I just want this fight to be over. Please Luke, it needs to be over." She whispers, "you win Luke you win."

Luke walks over to the other side of the counter, scoops her in his arms, and kisses her long and hard and pasionately, like he has wanted to for the last week. She was wearing a blue ribbon, for him, she wanted him, and she showed that with her blue ribbon.
