Hey guys! I'm new to Fanfiction as you guys can probably tell, I will try to update as soon as possible. So here's my story! I just want to say that i have taken small ideas from books but not with anything to deal with the plot but here you go!

I suddenly jolt awake and quickly realize I'm covered in sweat. Today was the ceremony for all sixteen year olds. I turn my head to the nightstand and the alarm clock flashes a brilliant blue to my face showing the time. "April 10, 2109 3:24 AM" . I slam my face back into the cotton pillow and the room darkens again as the clock clicks off. The ceremony begins at twelve and I have barely gotten any rest. Anyone who has been at this ceremony is not allowed to tell the others what happens at it. All I could assume is that we get pendants because I always seem to notice older teenagers and adults wearing them. I pull the sheets off of me and slide my legs over the bed. I place my bare feet gently into my slippers that automatically heat up, and step towards the mirror. I look at myself, a pale oval face with long layered caramel hair that had been dyed several times, and light green eyes. Green eyes are almost extinct now. Anyone found with them will be killed but I've managed to keep it a secret for all these years through my blue colored eye drops. Back as soon as the new millennium started they decided to spread pure equality throughout the nation. A group of terrorists tried to stop this. They ended up killing the president. They soon caught all of the terrorists which was a total of three hundred and twenty four and discovered only one similarity between all of them. They had green eyes. The government then decided to take into action and decided to get rid of all green eyed civilians. Some managed to get away. Then a few decades later they came out with colored eye drops which can only be found at black markets and each drop lasts only twelve hours.
I walk towards the door I look at the hand sensor and place my hand on the cool glass. A green line appears scanning my hand. A small tick lets me know the door has been unlocked. I step into the hallway looking out the the windows across the stairway. The night sky looked beautiful, the stars twinkled against the dark sky. I walked down the stairs each step softly illuminating as I pressed my slipper upon it. I make it down the stairs and walk into the kitchen. I walk over to the cabinet and press my pinky on the sensor. A list appeared on the touch screen interface;
Midnight Snack
Sleep Oil
Cure Oil
I press "Sleep Oil" probably this will help me sleep tonight. In the small glass box appears a tiny jar. I grab the jar carefully and shake it a few times before unscrewing the eye dropper. I drop one drop into each of my eyes and blink slowly. I place the jar back into the cabinet scan my pinky again which makes the door shut and gets rid of the bottle. I then quickly walk back upstairs to avoid passing out on the stairs like last time then crash onto my bed.
