One Hell of a Swann Song
On this bloody morn',
I tell you with scorn,
A dreadful love story,
my tale, no glory.
--
A declaration of exasperation,
An illustration of dedication,
A mutilation of motivation.
A regulation of complication,
A realization of fascination,
An inspiration of aggravation,
A demonstration of intoxication.
--
Born with a name,
to which I held due,
a perpetual honor,
a strange point of view.
--
I was lost in self-pity,
Concern for mine own,
although I had many,
I was still all alone.
--
A tender heart broke though
my reinforced walls,
a pitiful blacksmith,
although he appalled.
--
My father was wary,
I was sworn to another,
the man was oppressive,
severe like none other.
--
'Till once it was tightened,
my corset, confined,
My promised was careful,
he so tried to be kind.
--
I lost all composure;
plunged into the brine,
And when I came to,
A being divine.
--
He handled me softly,
a treasure; a dream,
his eyes were like fire,
a passionate gleam.
--
Deftly, he touched me,
Subtly, he sighed.
But with one look about me,
My lust was denied.
--
A pirate, a scoundrel,
a man bled of good,
destined for death,
Therefore trembling I stood.
--
He fled like a comet,
Beguiling and sly,
but still, there, I trembled,
my heart petrified.
--
Returning in silence,
A home without thought,
Would I see him again?
Perhaps sooner than thought.
--
Hope you all enjoyed Part I. I'm well into Part II, so expect it soon. Please Review, it means the world to me and keeps me motivated!
