Author's Note: This is my first fanfic ever, so if it has some mistakes I apologize ahead of time. I do not own Blood + nor do I own Kuroshitsuji. Please read and I hope you enjoy.
Chapter 1
Deep in a foggy forest not far from London, a girl is running. She was separated from her company while being chased, but was somehow able to escape from whatever was chasing her. She had been running for a couple of hours, and was very hungry. Her long hair was soaked with perspiration, and her dress was in rags. She had thrown away her shoes so that she would be able to run with more ease, and each cut or scrape she got would heal almost instantly. It was summer so she wasn't exactly cold, but she was still shivering. As she was running she came upon a road, but it was so long that she couldn't see any end to it. Should she follow it? Panting, she felt close to fainting. If she could at least find people before she passed out, maybe she would find something to eat.. and maybe ask them for directions to the city.
Her company was staying at an inn in London because they were searching for, and hiding from someone. She had recently arrived from France, and had lived quite a sheltered life away from the city. She was very happy and carefree until that incident happened, and her only father figure and benefactor was brutally murdered. She had simply wanted her sister to see what the outside world was like, but she did not understand who or what her sister was. She did not even understand what she was until that fateful Sunday morning dubbed "Bloody Sunday" by the survivors. It had been a two year since then, and her sister along with her benefactor's partner had disappeared. Her companions had found something that could be related to her sister in England, but they weren't very sure.
As the girl slowly made her trek along the road, she came across a large manor concealed in mist. It was almost as large as the house she lived in while she was in France; however, that place was more like a zoo with all the exotic plants and animals living there. In fact that was what it was called, the "Zoo", since it was a large experimental confinement for the girl, her sister, and the other creatures kept there. As she got closer, and closer to the manor, her vision started to blur. She was tired, hungry, and also a bit anemic from running for hours without any rest or food. Just as she was about to go up the first step, she collapsed. Her vision was getting dimmer and dimmer, and soon everything went dark. But before she lost complete consciousness, she heard a voice inside her head say, "Saya! Where are you?"
