Shadowflower

I looked at the puny cats in my vicinity. They milled around, seemingly enjoying their lives. It sickened me to see cats so pleased with such simple lives. The ugly little helpless things, I wanted to end them all.

I was a big cat, so all the other cats were a bit scared of me. It also meant that anything I did wrong was twice as bad as if anybody else did it. When I accidentally got between a mother and her kits I knew stuff was going to go down. Sure enough, a cat saw me and got the wrong idea. The mother was scared of me and I was facing the kits, so the idiot somehow got the idea that I was attacking the kits.

The cat attacked me. Me, the big cat of the Clan. I wasn't even able to fight back. If I did I would get in twice as much trouble. I sat there, feeling his claws raking my back, digging in almost to my spine. It disgusted me. I fell down, bleeding out, slowly. The medicine cat saw me and saved me, but I knew I was going to leave the Clan.

The leader saw me and nearly broke. He screamed and yelled, trying to get me to apologize. To change my ways. I was never going to do something stupid like that, I would rather be exiled. And exiled I was. It was a little scary but I was a loner at heart, so I adjusted well.

Today, however, I was going to get my revenge. I was going to kill them all one by one. I looked down, watching them walk around. I was on a hill so for now I could do whatever I wanted. I ran down, crashing down the camp's walls, and attacked the weasel of a warrior who originally attacked me. I pinned him down and tore out his throat, ready to kill again.

Yowls of terror met my ears and made me all the more ready to kill. I found the mother of the kits and, after killing her children while she watched, struck her down. I slashed and bit, realizing too late that this was a battle I couldn't want. Claws came from every side and jeers surrounded me. I was losing.

Suddenly I got more energy. I didn't know where it came from but it was certainly there. I knocked off my attackers and tried to run, but more soon replaced them. They got me down and scratched me until they were all covered in red. I lay there, bleeding out, knowing that I had won. I had killed my attackers and brought down some other cats while I was at it. Most importantly, some other cats who I had befriended now knew where this camp was. ThunderClan was going down.
