"You're fired" Kaiba yelled through the phone and slammed it down hard quickly soon after. His face was flushed red due to his anger because apparently one of his workers made a big mistake on the project the company was working on. The mistake made it crash big time and Kaiba didn't like the mistake one bit and made the phone call to the employer responsible, exchanged some 'civil words' to each other, resulting to the worker now being unemployed.
"What happened Seto?" Yami asked his boyfriend of 5 months.
"Something big happened with the project that we were doing. One of the people responsible for testing it out made the stupidest decision to actually download more characters to the game and it made it crash. Now he's without a job. And now we have to fix that problem as soon as possible" Kaiba told the ex-pharaoh the problem.
"Maybe he should've asked you for permission first" replied Yami with a frown.
"I will disapprove of it because downloading things to a game that it's already finished will make it crash. Now look what happened".
"Now since that poor guy is out of a job, are you going to start hiring a new one soon? Because that job is very important and useful to the company".
"Yes Yami, I know that kind of job is important to KaibaCorp. I am going to start with the hiring and interviewing. Hopefully this mistake will inspire the new employee not to make the same mistake twice. I'll have someone put up a hiring sign and we start from there".
"That's great Seto. You have your new employee soon. But don't be rude to them though. Your attitude that you give off to the rest of the world scares everybody off".
"I won't be rude Yami, I promise".
"Okay good, since you have tons of work to do, I shall be heading home. I got to study for that horrible and hard math test tomorrow. And you know I am failing that class with a barely passing grade of 60.1%. I'm pretty sure I won't pass even if my life depends on passing tomorrow's test".
"Don't worry about it Yami. I'll help you with the studying and I can quiz you to see if you learned something or not. You're smart and intelligent yourself Yami. Don't put yourself down. I'll go home with you and start a study session with you".
"That means so much Seto, you have no idea. You're going to help me ace that test, hopefully".
"You're going to pass that test Yami, don't worry".
"Okay, I am".
Both Yami and Kaiba left the room soon after that conversation. When the staff on the top floor saw the 2 males walking out from Kaiba's office, they stared in surprise because they all knew that Kaiba rarely left the building during the day.
Kaiba took notice of this and glared at them with a cold stare. Quickly they went back to work.
When Kaiba and Yami reached the first floor, they were greeted by Yugi with a worried face running towards them.
"What happened Yugi?" Yami quickly asked in concern.
"Yes, something happened Yami. And it's grandpa. He landed himself to the hospital".
"WHAT? The hospital? What happened to him?"
"He fell down the stairs and broke his leg and left wrist along the way".
"You should've called me when it happened Yugi".
"I'm sorry, I was so worried and concerned with Grandpa and everything that calling you totally slipped my mind. But I'm here now".
"Okay Seto, take us to the hospital now. I need to see him".
"Fine, but don't forget about that test Yami".
"I know that Seto, we do the studying when we get home".
"Whatever" Kaiba simply said.
Yugi, Yami and Kaiba got into his BMW and started heading towards Domino Hospital 10 minutes away.
