Hey guys, its Mushierooms here! (I'll eventually change my pen name to something better when I think of it) and I'm here with a brand new story in two categories that I've kept my eye on: Hellsing and Batman The Animated Series.
I've had my eyes on those categories for the longest of time and I finally have the chance to write a prologue to it and see what kind of reception I'll get from you guys. I love Hellsing and BTAS, I've been a huge, huge, HUGE fan for so long and I'm just ready to dive into this, but I need your guy's reception first on this.
First things first though before you throw yourself at this story with all the love you have in this world, I can't promise a regular updating schedule. I'm a pretty busy person outside of the web with band and school, BUT I can promise that this might be a story you'll enjoy especially with all the twists and turns that I'll be throwing in it. I know, I know, I can practically hear you groaning through my laptop saying; "UGH, NOT ONE OF THOSE AUTHORS AGAIN.".
Yes, I'm one of those shitty, little authors who just say, "Lol I'm just gonna type this and make you, the ones who end up loving this, suffer and ennjjoyyy it." .
.
Not really, I actually hate myself quite a lot for making you guys suffer of not hearing the rest of the story.
If you bare through the pain though, you'll end up in the end with you're happily ever after and you won't have to read another one of my god awful author notes eveeerrr again (unless you stumble upon another one of my stories again).
So, now that I have warned you of the dangers that you're throwing your heart into, let us begin the tale!
HELLSING AND BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES DO NOT BELONG TO ME WHAT SO EVER, THEY BELONG TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS.
ANY OCS IN HERE THOUGH, DO BELONG TO ME
Prologue
"It's been so long….." Two purple eyes opened, staring at the darkness that surrounded herself currently. "So long since that fateful day they discovered me." Her eyes practically seemed to glow almost, lighting up her the central part of her face showing blood painted lips and heavy eye makeup. "I never understood why they even needed in the first place here….why couldn't they just move HIM over here." She snorted inside her head. "There's TWO over there, why dig me up for!? I was perfectly fine sleeping for the rest of my life in hollow grounds." She growled slightly balling her hands up into fists. "They had some nerve digging ME up, of all the ones they could pick they choose me! I use to be known as the American Draculina over here. I struck fear into the ones who dare walked the streets of the southern states at night. Every crack and tap they heard was always thought to be me. I seduce those idiots, and practically live the dream of always getting what I wanted; blood and pleasure." She smiled, and released a happy sigh. "Those were the days….but not every dream can be lived forever…I needed to retired, I did truly. Those days that I once thought were a dream turned into a bore, I was tired of looking at people, tired of the same screams and parents urging kids into their homes." She closed her eyes, releasing her fists. "What better way to retired from my life than just do what I was meant to do before…" She brushed the nape of her neck lightly with the tips of her fingers causing goose bumps to run up her skin. "I was turn….sleep…drain myself of all power." A soft knock made her eyes fly open and pulled her out of her thoughts. Another growl escaped her lips. "Great, let's just interrupt my resting time. I don't think they understand the concept of even though I may be able to heal myself, I need to rest." Another knock grabbed her attention again.
"Viola, Miss Cora wishes your presence." An older women's voice was heard, it may have been muffled through the thick barrier of the walls that encased the young looking teen to those who were mortal, but to her it couldn't be as more clear than what it was.
"Oh, so the princess couldn't come down here and dig me up out of the coffin? Is it because her mother is not here?" Viola snorted, slowly opening up the casket's door to the outside world.
"Viola, we don't have time for your shit right now, we have an urgent mission." The other woman spat.
"Jeez, what crawled up your ass today Miss Mary Mack?" Viola thought as she popped out of her coffin, her chocolate hair flying everywhere. She turned towards the "older" woman who didn't look a day over 30. She was small in every aspect; her height, her frame, her –
"Ahem," Mary coughed. "Your presence is needed now by Miss Cora." She crossed her arms. "I understand that your still young with your appearance, but your mind is over 200 years old. You shouldn't be acting like a teen of this day. More so as your father said, a fledging."
"I can act however I want!" The vampire exclaimed, crossing her arms. "I will rip your throat open." She hissed towards the leading maid of the house, and the owner's closest friend. She threw up one of her hands as she began to walk out of the dark room.
"Yes, you can do that later as you said you would yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that-" Her voice was soon fading as she disappeared up the steps leaving Viola to herself.
"Idiot…." She mumbled, getting out of her coffin. "This whole Hellsing family and my father sure has some nerve to wake me up after requesting to not be…." Her lips curved up into a thin smirk that had been stained from the years of drinking blood. "I give the daughter props….maybe she'll live up to her name here in America."
"Did you get her?" Two cold, green eyes looked over at Mary as she entered the palor of the manor. Books lined the walls that were tattered and old. The furniture in there were looked all over through Europe for the young woman's particular taste for Victorian era. She reached over to her tea cup on the end table, taking a sip of it.
"Yes ma'am, but she's in her snarky mood as usual. Ooh, if she were my kid I'd take a switch to her, I just can't take thing she says seriously." The words that escaped Mary's mouth was lined with a thick southern accent, and twice as much when she was really mad. A small smile formed on Cora's face as she took a sip of her tea.
"She's the daughter of Alucard, even if she was just a one night stand baby. I don't know what you expect, her to actually act like she cares?" A small laugh escaped her mouth. "I lived 18 years with that man and every time I had to hear what came out of his mouth, I had to keep my composure. I never lose my composure now that I'm away from him, but you would probably be dead by now." She looked down into her tea cup before reaching the file she placed on the cherrywood table in front of her. "This case…..it just….a very weird location to have these attacks and I'm not understanding why they would choose such a famous location." She furrowed her eyebrows staring at the label on the front of it. "To have such two crime fighting figures there and all the villains, it just doesn't make any sense…" Cora sighed, running a hand through her blonde hair as she uncrossed her legs in the chair she was sitting in.
"Maybe they're planning something big." Mary suggested, taking a seat across from her. "What other place to search for the best place than Gotham City? Home of the most insane villains."
"Home of the most insane HUMAN villains." Cora corrected her. "If they're planning something big…" she looked back down at the file. " We need to stop it fast…their ghoul outbreak isn't getting better anytime soon and by the looks of it, the activity has increased even more over the months of the following year of the report of the first missing woman report."
Yay, it's done, The first small taste at what is to unfold in this story and what to expect. As you can tell right now, this isn't the normal Hellsing organization…..but a completely new one ran by Intregra's adoptive daughter in southern US (what better place than the south with all the stories that fly around here behind each building?)but that doesn't mean they won't show up here.
Review, tell me how it is, what you think (remember kids, don't bash), and should I continue!
Until then, signing off!
