Jamie Connor was twenty-nine years old. She had green eyes and strawberry blonde hair, down almost to the middle of her back. She'd grown up an army brat so she'd moved around a lot as a child. One of her favorite places she'd moved was Marrietta, Georgia when she was fifteen. She stayed there until graduation after which she decided to join the army herself. Now she owned a diner. Her father had bought it when he retired from the service and moved to Miami. It was very successful. Dozens of people were there every day. Jamie had owned it for two years and she loved it. She was at the diner and decided to greet the customers. When she got to a table she couldn't believe who she saw.

"Oh my god." She said. "Cody and Dustin Rhodes."

"Jamie?" Cody said.

"Yeah."

"Come here." Cody stood up. They hugged. She hugged Dustin. "I haven't seen you since we graduated."

"I know."

"Are you still in the army?"

"No I was discharged five years ago." "I own this diner."

"You do?"

"Yeah."

"So Dustin do you still wrestle?" She asked looking at Dustin.

"Yeah." Dustin said.

"So you still do the wig and the black and gold face paint?"

"Not the wig anymore but the face paint yeah."

"I wrestle now to." Cody said.

"Really?" Jamie said looking at Cody.

"Yeah." "Me and Dustin are partners."

"Cool." "You're married?" She asked looking at his ring hand.

"Yeah."

"What's her name?"

"Brandi."

"That's great." "I have a fiancee."

"What's his name?"

"Sam." "I'd love to stay here and catch up but I am working."

"Well here let me give you my cell phone number." "That way we can catch up later maybe meet up for lunch some time."

"I'd like that." They exchanged numbers. "See you guys later."

Cody and Dustin were driving back to the hotel. Out of corner of his eye from the passenger seat he could see Dustin smiling.

"Why are you smiling Dustin?" Cody said.

"I can't believe you still have a crush on her."

"What? "I do not." "I never did."

"You did to." "Why did you give her your number then?"

"To catch up." "I haven't seen her in years."

"What do you think Brandi will think about that?"

"Nothing." "She has friends who are guys."

"Yeah but I bet she never at any point wanted to date her guy friends, or kiss her guy friends, or lose her virginty to her guy friends."

"I never wanted to do any of that with Jamie."

"Yes you did." "Especially the lose your virginty thing."

"I did not she was just my friend."

"Oh yeah." "Don't you remember that weekend I came to see you." "You were eighteen I think." "You were the only one home." "I came upstairs." "I could hear you moaning "Oh Jamie" from your room." "Imagine my surprise when I looked in there and saw you alone holding a picture of Jamie in one hand and your-

"Oh my god." "I forgot all about that." He said laughing a little. "I wasn't looking at picture of Jamie." "I was looking at a Playboy magazine."

"Yeah whatever." "You said the same thing back then." "You were looking at Jamie and you know it."

"No I wasn't."

Cody started to think about the first time he met Jamie.

"Hi." He whispered.

"Hi." She whispered back.

Later that day it was lunchtime. Jamie was looking for a seat.

"You can sit here if you want?" Cody said.

"Thank you." She sat down.

"I'm Cody."

"I'm Jamie."

"Pretty name."

"Thank you."

Later that day Jamie was getting off the bus.

"Hey Jamie." Cody said from behind her.

"Yeah." She said turning around.

"Care if I walk you home?"

"No."

Fifteen minutes later they were at her house.

"Thank you for walking me home." She said.

"No problem."

"See you tomorrow."

"Ok."
