Will smirked as Halt walked up to the door. They were getting ready for the hoards and hoards of people who would all come, just for candy. Little did they know what was in store for them...
Especially with Will there. He had quite a few tricks of his sleeve.
A knock cut onto the door.
"Trick or treat!" a few young voices said. Will almost felt bad for them.
Almost.
He pulled the door open slowly, allowing it to creak excessively.
"Hello kids." Will whispered in a hissing voice he had practiced for hours the day before. The kids before him froze in pure terror.
Will was in a full body costume, one he had been making all year. It was of the Kalakara, and the bloodshot eyes bored into the kid's souls.
Then they screamed, high pitched and beyond terrified, and ran. Will watched them, cackling.

Horace watched the kids go past and sighed. It had been not that long ago that he had been that kid, asking for candy at every doorstep. Dressing up was always fun too.
He had always been a knight, and Will had always been a wolf. Alyss had been a huge assortment of things, witches-cackling and ugly, black cats-mewling in fright, even a mashed potato the year Jenny had been a stick of butter. George couldn't be bothered by Halloween, and always stayed in his room reading. Horace wondered if he really didn't like Halloween, or if he was scared.

Gilan smiled as he watched kids from all over spring his traps. What seemed to be dead bodies sprung up from the soft ground, fake spiders dropped down from trees, toy bats circled the running, screaming children. Yes. All around, it was a good Halloween. He turned to walk into the cabin to eat a couple pieces of candy.
He dropped everything and ran. He had accidentally sprung one of his own traps, one of the worst.
Several "dead bodies" sprung up and flew over the earth, appearing as if dead spirits were trying to claw Gilan to the underworld. Several "zombies" walked forwards, pulled by a pulley system. Bats seemed to fly around Gilan's head.
He continued screaming and running into the forest. Finally he realized what happened and started laughing wildly.

If you're going to ask what Halt did...he just sat at home and watched as mayhem was released. How was he seeing it all? You'll never know.
