Daydreams

Rory was shocked when The Doctor kissed him. Shocked and disgusted. Men just didn't do that kind of stuff! Maybe The Doctor missed the memo. Rory would have to explain to him the concept of being straight. But of course it would make no difference; little, insignificant things like that didn't matter to The Doctor. Rory sighed, and decided to just try and put it out of his mind.

But he couldn't. No matter how hard he tried, the memory of that kiss would not stay locked in the dark corner of his brain where he tried to shove it, but kept resurfacing at the worst of times. While The Doctor was shouting directions to his two companions, something regarding tools he needed to fix the console, Amy was dashing around like mad to find them for him, but Rory found he couldn't move. He was simply standing there, staring at The Doctor, watching those lips, captivated. The Doctor's lips were soft and full, Rory wondered how many people he had kissed in his lifetime. Probably a fair few, seeing as he was nine hundred years old. And how many of those kissers had actually been human? Rory didn't want to think about it.

"Oi! Get your stupid face over here and help!" Rory was shaken from his daydream by Amy's shouts. Amy. His WIFE. He was standing here mentally going over a kiss from his wife's best friend, (who also happened to be a male), while his wife was assisting that very friend in fixing the Tardis. And he should have been helping. Shaking his head, very angry with himself, Rory chased the thought from his mind and bent to find the hammer that had fallen under the console.

As soon as The Doctor turned to speak to him however, Rory found himself daydreaming again, lost in those ever changing eyes.
