It was time for Jessie to round up all of the kids for dinnertime.
She saw Emma looking at herself in the bathroom mirror and saw Zuri having a tea party with her imaginary friend 'Milly the Mermaid' , but she totally believes Milly is a real mermaid and that all of her other imaginary friends are real too. It worries Jessie that she is too old and is passed the date for little kids to have imaginary friends, she is seven.
Jessie saw Ravi trying to beat the dinosaurs on his new video game he bought; he was good at it and was already on level 30 after a day. Luckily there where 70 levels for him to complete so he was only a quarter done the game.
When Jessie went to find Luke, she could not find him at all.
"Luke," Jessie kept calling his name. No answer. So Jessie went to the movie room in their house. It was like a theatre just there, with a remote so you could change the channels. You had all of your favourite shows and movies, just there on a giant screen.
There he was, Luke was in the movie theatre watching the show like a cheetah staring and stalking its prey. But that didn't bother Jessie, what bothered her was what he was watching he was watching
ELMO
"Luke why are you watching ELMO?" Jessie asked
"Oh, Jessie I did not see you there…" Luke said
"Answer," she stated.
"Well I wanted to go back to the days when I was a little kid and watched things like Elmo and Barney. Please let me be and don't get me checked out it is nothing bad at all you see. Can't a guy go back to his child years?"
Jessie thought about what he said and let him be, if he wanted to go back to when he was just a toddler, then he can.
"Remember to be at the table for dinner in five minutes at the most, or your dinner will be cold. It has already been ten minutes, so the steam it had is gone and everyone else at the table is probably half done. I haven't even started eating, neither have you. It was like when my dad didn't call us that he made dinner so when me and the other family got home, it was all cold, who wants to eat something cold. Just be lucky that you have microwaves"
Jessie left the room to get back and have the mashed potatoes and carrots for dinner that Bertrum made for the family.
When Jessie left Luke turned it back on to the R-rated movie he was watching.
