Mischievous
On a cold night in December Beast Boy was returning to T tower, when he suddenly heard a girl scream, maybe, I should go see what's going on, Robin won't mind,..atleast I don't think he will. Beast Boy said in his head. He morphed into a rat and scurried down an alley way, where he saw Jynx beating up a young teen about his age. Morphing into a bull he charged at Jynx, sending her flying. The girl scared, turned her gaze towards Beast Boy. A small smile appeared upon her face, Beast Boy morphed back and introduced himself.
"Hi I'm……."
"You're Beast Boy, I know" the girl quickly cut Beast Boy's words off.
"Oh! Cool, ok so what's your name?" Beast Boy replied rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm Whitney" she politely answered
"Whitney, you want to return to T tower with me? I mean, it wouldn't be a big deal or anything, I don't think the others would really mind "Beast Boy nervously spoke
"Sure, that would be great" Whitney happily replied.
Beast Boy and his new friend returned to the tower. When they arrived Robin didn't look so happy.
"Beast Boy I see you have a new friend" came Robin's voice a bit coldly
"Yeah, this is Whitney, Jynx was attacking her,………so I thought I'd help. And it's really cold out there"
Raven starred at the girl, the girl seemed nice.
Whitney had very light brown hair, with hazel eyes, she was about 5'2, yeah she's pretty short.
Whitney noticed Raven's stare, she looked at her and smiled a bit. Starfire entered the room an welcomed the guest with a large hug. Whitney not liking it one bit, electrocuted her. Raven smirked with a slight laugh, Raven already could tell they would be good friends if she stayed.
Robin began discussing where Whitney would stay until they had a room prepared for her.
Raven quickly spoke out "She can stay with me,……….."
Everyone just starred. Beast boy began to laugh hysterically
"You actually share, your room with someone" came Beast Boy's words between laughs.
"Why is it funny? She seems alright" Raven harshly replied.
Beast Boy stopped laughing and hid behind Whitney. Whitney laughed, she thought it was funny the way the two fought and argued. After that Raven led Whitney to her room.
"Welcome to my room" came Raven's voice
"You sure you don't mind me staying in here with you?" Whitney asked not looking at Raven
"Yeah, the way you shocked Star, that was funny. What did you use to do that with?" raven asked "If you don't mind me asking"
"My powers" came Whitney's soft voice
"If you have powers why didn't you fight off Jynx?" Raven asked
"I couldn't, she did something that caused my powers to fail" Whitney solemnly answered.
"Odd, Jynx doesn't have anyways of getting something that would…………….."Raven spoke and stopped "Slade, she's teamed up with Slade"
"I'm sorry but who is Slade" Whitney asked
"You'll find out" Raven said while pulling Whitney into the main room. After re-telling her story Whitney became a Titan.
The next morning she awakened in her bedroom. After getting dressed she went into the main room and talked with her new teammates.
