She was pleading in sorrow and horror while her other self's calm and collected eyes were slowly started to dilated and tremble in shock. Their opponent stared at them in pain and resentment as they gritted their teeth one last time. A scream was heard but Mato couldn't tell if it was her or Dead Master and Yomi. Silence soon came after and they both know their opponent was no more. She didn't even notice the world was now falling apart as the master of this domain crumbles along with it. All she and her other self saw was Dead Master's corpse, the death of Yomi's memory and feelings for Mato. She felt tears run down her face as Black Rock Shooter just stare in horror, the revelation of their actions coming down at them quickly.
After all this time wondering what happen to them…
After just realizing they were the cause of this….
It was too late to do any to fix the damage.
She failed to save her. No, they failed to save them. She could feel her other self's anguish and misery. The other her thought she was saving her, only to find she just destroy the person they cared about. She didn't realize by destroying Dead Master, she would destroy not only Yomi's grief but all the feelings and memories she had for Mato.

She never meant for all this to happen. She never meant to do this to Yomi. All she wanted was to be friends with her. That's all she wanted. She never meant for all this to happen and now it was too late to change things.

The flame in their eye slowly lost its flare as they both felt misery take over them.
Their hearts were arching with intense pain…
Their minds were cracking of this knowledge…

A crimson flame shoots of their eye, mixing with their original blue, coming together into a single purple flame. Their eyes were no longer a shining blue but a blank dark purple.
They were not only heartbroken; they have now lost their sanity.

Author's Note: I had to write something down when I saw the latest episode of Black Rock Shooter, it was so sad and I had to write how Mato and BRS were feeling at the moment. When I first saw the first episode, I never expected it will this good. Though I will admit it sometimes gets a little overdramatic (Yomi's expressions in episode 4 is a perfect example at that).Other than that, I really loved the anime. Besides bringing out IBRS, I believe the anime truly surpassed the OVA in most aspects. True, the changes of the character appearances were a little put off for a start but you get used to it. I can't wait to see episode 6 when Black Gold Saw fights IBRS. I hope it going to be epic.
