Dearly Beloved
Summary: [One-Shot] Sora loves Kairi. But he doesn't know how she feels about him. When he finally tells her, what will she say?

It was just another boring day on Destiny Islands. Sora and Riku have come back and things are pretty normal. Well, normal for everyone else except Sora.
"Hey Sora! Wanna duel?" Riku asked. Sora looked at his friend and shook his head. "Nah. Not today."
Tidus gaped at him. "Sora, that's the fifth time today you said that."
Selphie agreed. "Yeah, something's wrong." Riku looked at his best friend in the yes and knew what it was about.
"Wakka, Tidus, Selphie! I have to talk to Sora about something so you go ahead and start the duel." Riku and Sora went to the Secret place.
"Is it about her again?" He asked.
"Who?" Sora asked, trying to sound like he didn't know what Riku was talking about.
Riku's eyes narrowed. "I know you like Kairi. Well, not like, by the look on your face, you love her."
Sora sighed. "How long have you known that?"
Riku mouthed the words 'Hollow Bastion' and shrugged. "Hey! Mickey and I heard your chat after you sealed the door. You two were like..." Then, Riku acted it out.
"Kairi!"
"Sora!"
"Remember what you said before! I'm always with you too! I'll come back to you! I promise!"
"I know you will!"
"Look, I said that to her to make her feel like she wasn't gonna be alone for the rest of her life. I don't know if she loves me the way I love her." Sora sighed.
Riku hit his head several times on the stone wall, next to him. "This is not good."
Sora glared at his friend. "Hey! I know you love her too."
"As a sister, idiot!" Riku protested. "I don't have the same feelings about her like before, Sora."
'Oh God. What mess did I get Sora into now?' Riku thought, punching the wall.
"You have to tell her sooner or later. Because if you keep that hidden for too long, it could haunt your mind for the rest of your life and something made go wrong in you." Riku said.
"Like what?" Sora asked. Riku shook his silver hair. "Can't think straight and you'll find yourself thinking about her."
"Looks like I have to tell Kairi." Sora sighed.
"Tell me what?" Kairi walked into the Secret place.
"I'll leave you two alone to talk. Later." Riku ran out to join the duel.
"Kairi, I..." Sora's voice trailed off.
"Yes, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"Kairi, I don't know how you feel about me. But, I love you." Sora said, looking away.
"Oh, Sora. I love you too." Kairi embraced him and their lips met.
After a long silence, they didn't dare break the kiss.
"Aw. How romantic!" A girl's voice said loudly.
"SELPHIE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN THE TUNNEL? I THOUGHT RIKU TOLD YOU NOT TO GO IN THERE!" Tidus yelled.
"Ya busted now, Selph." Wakka said.
"Really busted." Riku's voice said. His footsteps were heading toward Sora and Kairi. "Sorry guys."
He had his water gun in hand. Kairi and Sora broke the kiss and ran like crazy, trying not to get wet.
"RIKU, THAT'S ENOUGH ALREADY!" Kairi screamed.
"RIKU, STOP!" Sora shouted. Riku stopped and laughed. "You two look like rag dolls now."
Sora tackled his friend to the ground and laughed as well.
