Naegi said good night to Kirigiri, and waved to Asahina as he swiped his card to open his bedroom door. It had been a long day, and Naegi had decided to turn in early, though not for the reason he had shared.
As soon as the girls' doors clicked shut, Naegi ducked into his room. He had been looking forward to this moment all day. It was his only salvation from the constant threat of murder, the always present fear of finding one of his friend's lifeless bodies.
He changed into his pajamas and cautiously climbed into bed, not wanting to startle his companion. Naegi reached his foot over to that of his brunette lover; it was cold despite the blanket draped over them.
He let out a chuckle and whispered, "Don't worry, Chi-chi, I'll warm you right up..."
Naegi wrapped his arms around Chihiro's waist, pulling him close. As he told his boyfriend about his day, Naegi ran his fingers through Chihiro's hair. Naegi looked at his hand and sighed. He sat up and turned on the lights, examining the clump of hair and flesh in his hands.
"It's alright, I'm sure this is normal," Naegi comforted Chihiro.
"Besides, once all this stuff is gone, I'll love you still. It's what on the inside that counts, right? I just wish there wasn't so many bugs." He brushed of his hand and turned off the lights, cuddling up to the cold body of his only remaining friend.
