The red haired teen sat in his room. His eyes sad,looking outside his window at the newly fallen snow and snow still falling in the air,floating beautifully but he was too depressed to appreciate it. For as long as he's known he always got like this in winter months but he just thought it was because he was living in Colorado his whole life and was just too used to the snow but a few years ago his mom made him go to the doctor where he was diagnosed with "seasonal affective disorder" or SAD for short. A heavy sigh comes out if his mouth,wanting to do something,cheer up a little. Suddenly an orange parka clad Teen shows up out the Jews window bringing a small smile to his face.
Kenny waves, Kyle stands up, gets his coat and walks out the door to meet his boyfriend. Kenny walks up and hugs him sweetly. "hey babe." Kyle rolls his eyes. "I told you, don't call me that." " I like calling you that" Kyle punches him playfully. "well stop. Why are you here? I thought you were out of town for Christmas." "not till Sunday. I got a few more days and I have a surprise for you" Kyle looks at him strangely. Kenny smiles. "don't look at me like that, it's good I promise." he holds out his hand. Kyle smiles and takes it happily.
After five blocks Kyle begins to wonder. "where are you taking me?" " be patient, trust me." "trust you? Didn't that phrase get us together?" "yep." the answer brings a small chuckle from kyles small lips. one block later Kenny stops. "what is it Ken?" I need you to close your eyes." Kyle looks at him weird. "please " Kyle closes his eyes and follows what he says. Kenny smiles and takes both his hands. "keep them closed." "there closed." Kenny stops at his destination His eyes widen in excitement. He gets behind kyle, hands gently on his shoulders. "ok, open your eyes." Kyles eyes open only to look confused.
As he stands there all he sees is an older gent standing outside a house. "uhhh Ken, is this the surprise?" "no there's more." he signals the man to starts something. He suddenly goes inside then...boom! Lights! Everywhere on the house. The jews eyes quickly go from dull to full of life and excitement in just a second. Kenny smiles soft down at him, happy to see those eyes he loves so much light up again. Suddenly music starts. The lights going in perfect harmony to "wizards in winter" kyles eyes widen and smile wide on his him glow.
Kenny stares at kyles glowing face, illuminated by the moving lights. All too quickly it ends and the lights stay stationary and music stopped leaving Kyle stunned. Kenny Turns him around to look in his eyed. "how was that?" Kyle smiles excitedly."it was awesome!" " I remember when you said you needed light therapy so I got an old tech friend and put this together." Kyle is speechless for a few moments before crashing his lips and melding them in kennys. Kenny smiles and kisses back, happy to have his Kyle back.
