-Sweet Dreams-
At last, finally back together.
It's been way too long.
Said you'd make my son a man.
Before you brought him home.
And then the weeks passed, longer.
Me just sitting, waiting at home.
To think we were happy.
And then you just left me alone.
The years passed.
Slowly the days I counted.
The inches, I had imagined him grow.
You left me without a chance.
No goodbye, no final hello.
And I searched and found.
You and our offspring.
You thought I'd be angry.
But, at the sight, my heart did sing.
Now precious man,
Making it the only way you know how.
I forgive you, all those years,
We have catching up to do.
I missed all the years.
Our son's development.
And I say again.
And I say again.
I forgive you, missed your sweet presence.
Though I could live without.
Missed that body beside me.
Oh, had to climb into a cold bed.
Missed your loving shoulder.
Oh, upon which I laid my head.
All I had were nightmares.
Fearing you and my son had died.
Now that I found you.
Oh, Sweet dreams I have ev'ry night.
I found you.
Sweet dreams ev'ry night.

A/N: This is a poem I wrote, actually a song, that I think COULD have desrcibed Nodoka's relationship with Genma. I mean really, Genma must have at one time been desirable, and I believe that after no matter how many years, there's a glimmer of that still there. Only his wife can see it, but nonetheless. Nodoka was by herself for a long while and she went without a companion. I think it's only natural for her to have missed her husband. This is what I tried to express here. Thanks for reading and please review.
