The handsome prince sighs
As hot lightning streaks the sky
Soon Eric is gone

Tossed overboard he
Would surely drown if not for
The little mermaid

Ariel drags him
Back to shore and sings Eric
A song of her dreams

But there is trouble
When King Triton discovers
Ariel's secret

Mermaid and human
Could never be, so the king
Aims his Trident and

Destroys Ariel's
Collection of human things
Her treasures are gone

And Ariel weeps
But soon seeks out Ursula
Looking for some help

The ugly Sea Witch
gives her legs in exchange for
The mermaid's sweet voice

She has three mere days
To receive a True Love's Kiss
From good Prince Eric

Should Ariel fail
Her soul will be Ursula's
Never trust a witch

Clothed in ragged sails
The prince finds Ariel on
The beach all alone

She looks Familiar
"Who are you?" asks the good prince
But she says nothing

Eric frowns sadly
She cannot be the same girl
that had rescued him

But he takes her back
To his seaside castle where
he gets to know her

Now in a rowboat
The crab's song say 'Kiss the girl'
But Ursula cheats

Who is Vanessa?
She's Ursula in disguise
The prince does not know

The next morning her
Seagull friend talks about a
Wedding to take place

Ariel races
down the stairs, but what is this?
Another woman

The wedding ship is
to depart at the sunset
Again she sheds tears

The Sea Witch is proud
And she brags to her mirror
But the seagull hears

"The Prince is going
"to marry the Sea Witch!" the
Seagull does relate

She dries her wet tears
Eric must be saved again
The girl finds her voice

But it is too late
Three days had now run its course
She regains her tail

The Sea Witch grabs the
Mermaid and drags her under
"Ursula stop, now!"

The king does order
But a contract has been signed
Ariel was hers

The king gives up his
Trident in exchange for his
Little girl's safety

Ursula Towers
Over lowly enemies
She will rule the seas

But Eric now knows
The truth and will risk his life
To save his true love

The prince, a brave man
Steers ship's broken mast into
Belly of the beast

The Sea Witch, writhing
Slips beneath the waves and dies
Evil is vanquished

Now, Ariel sighs
Still the lonesome mermaid who
Is pining for land

Her father relents
And with his Trident transforms
Ariel human

With a sparkling dress
Ariel runs to the arms
of the man she loves

With a kiss of love
The two are married and a
Happy end for all
