"There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip"
Seeing the wendigo about to chow down on Sam, Dean ran full tilt at the creature.
There was a heart-dropping moment as he felt his feet slip out from under him on a treacherous patch of mud. Desperately trying to regain his balance, he tripped over a root and careered into an arms-flailing nose dive.
Clambering upright, he scrambled to find the machete he'd dropped.
"What was that?" laughed Sam.
Embarrassed, Dean looked around for the wendigo, only to see its decapitated head roll to a stop in front of him.
"When did you learn martial arts?" asked Sam, impressed.
