Okay readers, this is a ONESHOT Fanfiction that I did. The name of it is called:
PAPER MARIO TTYD: CHAPTER 4 TWIST
Note: All Paper Mario characters belong to Nintendo, and Intelligent System Inc, while Shadow the Hedgehog belongs to SEGA and Sonic Team.
Mario was a shadow. He turned into a lonely shadow, that his doppelganger Doopliss was responsible for doing. He needed assistance to get his name and body back. When he went back to Twilight Town, he saw the most beautiful thing ever. It was a purple shadow creature with pink curly hair, was wearing a red-and-white witches hat and had orange lip stick on and had cheek marks as well. Yes readers, Vivian was looking for the Superbombomb that Beldam dropped and blamed her for losing it.
"Why is Beldam so mean to me," Vivian sniffed as she cried. "She beats me up and then she calls me ugly? She's the ugly one! Now where is that damn 4th Superbombomb?"
Mario decided to help her out, stating that she seems like a sexy lady and went looking through the bushes. Suddenly, he found the Superbombomb, and went up to Vivian to give it to her. She then noticed him.
"Can I help you mister?" She asked politely.
"Did you lose this miss?" Mario asked as he then hands her the Superbombomb.
"YES! THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
Vivian then grasped Mario into a hug.
"YOU FOUND THAT DAMN FOURTH SUPERBOMBOMB!" Vivian sounded happier than she did a moment ago.
"HEY!" A black hedgehog known as Shadow the Hedgehog appeared mysteriously. "WHERE'S THAT DAMN FOURTH CHAOS EMERALD!"
Wrong game Shadow.
"Whoops, sorry."
Realizing his mistake, Shadow then teleports away.
Suddenly, Vivian looks shocked when she saw the grenade.
"What's wrong miss?" Mario asked with concern.
"The Bomb," she whimpered. "IT'S BROKEN!"
She then started crying.
"MY SISTER'S GONNA BLAME ME FOR IT! I DON'T WANNA BE PUNISHED OR BEATEN UP!"
Mario then knew what to say.
"Hey," Mario comforted her; rubbing her back. "Don't worry about it miss."
"Thanks," She smiled. "That's very sweet. No one has been this kind to me before."
"They should," Mario begun to flirt with her. "You're such a hot, sexy girl."
This made Vivian blush a bright dark red.
"So what's your name anyway mister?" She asked.
"Uh...it's been stolen."
"REALLY! BY WHO!?"
"Here's how it happened."
Mario then explained his dilemma to Vivian.
"And that's what happened." He finished his story.
"Well in that case, I say we get your name and body back." Vivian stated.
"What," Mario was taken aback by this. "What do you mean we huh?"
"By we I mean I'm gonna help you get your name and body back, in return for being so kind to me, you little sugary sweetheart," She said in a seductive voice. "Let's hide and listen to bird conversations and hide in the shadows, doing all sorts of dirty stuff while at it."
Mario then let out a grin.
"Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet," Mario was thrilled to have the hottest Shadow Siren/Beauty in the universe accompany him.
"VIVIAN HAS JOINED YOUR PARTY," Some crazy announcer guy shouted so suddenly. "AND FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!"
"ARRRGGHHH! SHUT UP!" Shadow snarled as he then blasts his Shadow Rifle at the announcer dude, fed up with that certain phrase he heard countless times by a certain crocodile.
"GAH! HELP, HELP! I'M GONNA DIE! I'M GONNA DIE!"
Mario and Vivian ignore him and actually hide in the shadows and listened to birds talk while doing all sorts of dirty stuff. They then learned that they need to go to Creepy Steeple to see a parrot of some sort. They then went to the Steeple.
"Hey Slick, who's your girlfriend huh," Doopliss called out as he then appeared out of nowhere, with Vivian examining him.
"This is the body thief," Vivian wondered, recognizing him from somewhere before. "He's so familiar to me."
"ALRIGHT DAWGS! If you can't guess my name, the shadow girl becomes mine," Doopliss said. "So what is it?"
A moment later, Mario then said.
"SEGA!"
"Wrongamundo, little nobody," Doopliss snorted. "What mother would name their kid that?"
Suddenly, a blue spin ball charged right through Doopliss, knocking him down instantly.
"Grrrrr," Doopliss growled. "THE GIRL IS MINE NOW!"
"RUN VIVIAN!"
"Right!"
They then take off, making Doopliss upset.
"NOOOOO," He screamed. "THAT'S NOT FAIR!"
"That was a close one," Mario panted, glad that they escaped and were already entering the woods.
"Well let's continue, shall we mister?"
"Right," He said as they then headed for the Creepy Steeple.
When they got there, they had to go through puzzles that can only be solved with Vivian on your team. When they got their, they noticed something weird. A parrot was in a cage.
"Uh...hey," Mario started. "Listen, we need some help."
The parrot just stared at Mario, fixedly.
"We need your help mister," Vivian spoke up.
"Yeah," Mario agreed. "See, my name and body have been stolen by this...doppelganger."
"WOAH! Did...did you say...doppelganger," The parrot asked, feeling like he knew who this doppelganger was.
"Yeah," Mario stated. "Can you help us?"
"On one condition," The parrot began his proposition. "You help me out, and then I'll repay you."
"How though," Mario wondered.
"Listen man," The parrot started. "Ever since that freak came here, he's locked me down here and had completely forgotten about me, so can you lend me a hand?"
"Sure thing," Mario nodded as he then opens the cage and freed him.
"Man," The parrot jumped out and stretched his wings, after being in there for who knows how long. "You wouldn't believe how bad it's felt living in that stinky cage."
"Right, can you help us?" Mario got back on track.
"Sure," The parrot gave them advice. "The guy's name is...Doopliss."
"Doopliss?" Mario and Vivian were wondering.
"Yes. Take this letter 'p', you're gonna need it." The parrot got out a letter 'p' and tossed it to Mario.
"Thanks," Mario caught the letter 'p'.
"Well, I'll see you real soon. Good luck."
The Parrot then flew out of the basement.
"Now let's go pay that faker a visit," Vivian giggled.
"Yes," Mario agreed.
The two then went to see Doopliss.
When they got there, right before he even spoke.
"DOOPLISS!" They both shouted together.
"WHAT!" Doopliss was shocked. "I DIDN'T EVEN FINISH MY SENTENCE! RETREAT!"
Doopliss fled back to his fort; the Creepy Steeple.
"LET'S GET HIM!" Mario declared.
"YEAH!" Vivian had his back as the two then went to the steeple and climbed up to the top, to see Doopliss ready to fight.
"So Slick," Doopliss was still disguised as Mario. "You ready to surrender or you ready to face the wrath of SUPER MARIO!?"
"Mario," realization hit Vivian in the face. "If he stole your name, then that means...YOU'RE MARIO!?"
"Uh...listen Vivian, I can explain," Mario had realized that she found out.
"No need to. I see where this is going," Vivian shook her head in disbelief. "You decide to trick me into betraying my sisters, and I thought you were some guy who needed help getting your name back. I'm...I'm a big fat idiot."
"Vivian! Wait!" Mario called out but he was too late, Vivian already departed.
"Now since you're done fighting with your girlfriend, we ready to fight?" Doopliss had a smug smirk on his face.
"Bring it on!" Mario shouted as he had his hammer out and everything.
"HEY DUDE!" That same parrot from before then flew over and landed on the top of the rocking chair.
"YOU AGAIN!" Mario recognized him.
"YOU CAN DO IT SHADOW GUY!" The parrot gave him support.
"Hmm, since your ready, I'm gonna make this fight unfair for you," Doopliss then called out. "COME ON OUT GUYS!"
Suddenly, Mario's first four partners; Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, and the Yoshi kid (who I decided to name Spunky) appeared.
"Let's go guys," He motioned then to get ready. "Time to go and kill this guy once and for all!"
"Sure thing Mario. We're," Goombella stopped short when she noticed something. "Wait a second! Mario never says 'kill this guy' ever!"
"What are you talking about, Slick?" Doopliss asked.
"Uh...Mario doesn't call us 'Slick' either," Koops spoke up.
"What," Doopliss sounded confused as he shook his head. "I'm talking about destroying this guy Slicks."
"Your not the real Mario, you fiend," Flurrie sneered as she knew he was an imposter.
"Oh crud," Doopliss gulped.
"HE'S A FAKER! LET'S GET HIM!" Spunky shouted and let out a battle cry.
"YEAH!"
They all then attacked Doopliss, as the parrot was laughing in sight of Doopliss getting beaten up by Mario's first four partners. Mario however, was thinking to himself, alone.
Oh Vivian, my dear sweet Vivian. He thought to himself. Why did you have to leave me? I miss you so much. You mean more to me than that dumb broad Princess Peach. I want to sleep with you, my Shadow Beauty. I love you Vivian.
Mario kept thinking about how hot Vivian is when suddenly.
"I'm...I'm sorry sis...but this Mario is the only person who's ever been kind to me..."
"Huh?" Mario was wondering who just spoke just now when suddenly, Vivian appeared right behind Mario.
"HEY MARIO!" She shouted.
"WOAH!" Mario jumped as he then saw Vivian. "OH, Vivian. You...you came back?"
"Course I did sweetheart," Vivian stated. "I'm fighting by your side from now on sugar."
"Sweet. I really enjoy having you traveling with me."
"That's why I'm sticking with you Mario."
"Thanks Vivian."
"No problem."
Vivian notices Doopliss getting mauled by Mario's first four partners.
"What are they doing?" She asked.
"Taking down the doppelganger," Mario said simply.
The partners then stopped as a beaten down Doopliss was knocked out cold.
"WE TOOK CARE OF HIM GONZALES SIR!" Spunky shouted.
"Excellent work soldier," Mario was pleased as Spunky then put him hand on his forehead like a soldier in the war.
"Huh?" Vivian was a little confused as Doopliss then turned back into his freak sheet form and Mario went back to his former self.
"I'M BACK BABY!" Mario whooped.
Doopliss then got up.
"BUNCH OF KILLJOYS!" Doopliss shouted as he then ran off dropping the Crystal Star while at it.
"We did good, right guys," Goombella sounded pleased.
"YEAH! GOOD TO HAVE MARIO BACK!" Both Koops and Flurrie cheered, the latter actually hugging Mario for a brief second.
"But hey, that shadow girl," Spunky wondered. "Isn't she one of the Shadow Sirens you guys mentioned? Why the heck would Gonzales team up with one of those creeps?"
"HEY! Vivian not a creep! She's the prettiest, and hottest, and sexiest shadow girl I've ever met, and I helped her out with problems due to how her sister Beldam treated her!" Mario defended Vivian.
"Oh Mario," Vivian giggled. "Thanks for sticking up for me."
"Well, thanks to her, you came back alright," Spunky stated. "She's a member of our team now, right Gonzales?"
"Yup!"
Vivian had the need to tell Mario something.
"Uh...Mario listen, sorry about earlier."
"Hey, it's okay. Don't worry about it. I'm glad to have you with us."
"I'm glad too." Vivian admitted as the two then hugged.
Suddenly, a Chaos Emerald dropped down from the sky.
"What's that?" Goombella asked.
"MINE!"
Suddenly, Shadow went and swiped the Chaos Emerald.
At last, I found that damn FOURTH Chaos Emerald," Shadow stated. "Now...CHAOS CONTROL!"
Shadow then teleported away to his world.
"Good Job Mario. I'll be off." The Parrot spoke up, wearing a top hat and carrying a suitcase.
"What are you gonna do now that you're free?" Mario asked.
"I'm going to Las Vegas. I'M GONNA BECOME A RICH MILLIONIARE BABY! ASTA LA BYE BYE!" The parrot shouted as he then flew off in the distance to the harvest moon.
"BYE!" The heroes shouted out in the distance as Vivian then grabbed the Crystal Star and then gave it to Mario.
"This is for you Mario," Vivian said kindly giving it to him.
"Thanks Vivian,"
"No problem Mario,"
Mario then felt like Vivian had just kissed him, which made him blush, and now Mario shall continue his adventure.
MEANWHILE, IN TWILIGHT TOWN.
Beldam and Marilyn were looking for Vivian.
"Vivian is so very late," Beldam sneered angrily. "Where has that scatterbrain been all this time?!"
"Guuuuuuuhhhh!" Marilyn shouted out.
Suddenly, Doopliss runs by and they notice him pass by.
