"Come on Sleeping Beauty! Wakey-Wakey!" Merlin shouted as he strode into the bedroom. The raven-haired man shook his head fondly at the blolnde Heir, who was sprawled messily across the mattress, the duvet only half covering him.

A muffled reply came from the bed, which sounded to Merlin like;
"Who died and made you King?"
Which caused a smile to spread across Merlin's face.
"You know Arthur, I don't remember - 'Force a Royal Prat out of his bed.' being in the job description. Merlin heard a snort from over in the Prince's direction.
"It's okay, Merlin. Putting up with Clotpoles like you, wasn't in mine either." Arthur shot back, guestering with a raised arm, for Merlin to help him up.

Once he had drawn back the window curtains, Merlin walked over to Arthur, grabbed the blonde's hand and dragged the Prince out of the bed and watched as he landed with a thud on the red carpet.

Arthur grabbed the linen, which had fallen with him and wrapped them around his waist. Whilst standing up, he tried his best to give Merliln a stern glare.
Marching over to the breakfast tray, which Merlin must have brought in before he had awoken him, he motioned for Merlin to follow him. After making sure his Man Servent was stood behind him, he grabbed the water jug. The Prince poured it's contents over the raven-haired man's head, then walked passed Merlin, handing him the offending weapon.

"I don't know why I continue to put up with this constant bullying from you. Anybody else would have walked straight out of this Castle already!" Merlin grumbled, before setting the now empty water jug back on the tray, and followed in Arthur's direction, stopping to gather the clothes Arthur would be wearing that day.

Meanwhile, Artgur had managed to release himself from the bedding, which was now hung messily over the top of the dresser and was now waiting paitently for Merlin to hand over his clothes. He quite rather enjoyed their morning routines of throwing half-hearted threats and jibes at one another. Taking his clothes from Merlin, he answered him;
"The thing you need to be asking your-self is why I put up with you! You are a useless Man-Servent. You hardly do any cleaning up, and when in the rare times you do, I swear the room looks worse than before. It seems the only thing you do well is bully me, answer back and never do as I ask. Not to mention the talking! Do you ever shut up?"

Merlin laughed and waitettd with a glass of Orange juice in one hand and a plate of Chocolate Chip Cookies in the other. Arthur re-appeared from behind his dresser and gently pulled the glass from Merlin's hand and shoving a cookie in Merlin's mouth, who was still laughing, before continuing his speech;
"Now, look at Guinevere! She is very good at her job. I wonder if Morgana would swap her for you?" Arthur chuckled at his Man-Servent, who had sobered rather quickly.
"Don't worry Merlin, I wouln't swap you for anybody." The Prince watched as a smile returned to his face.
"However, given the right price..." Arthur grinned, clapping Merlin gently on the cheek, before taking another cookie and walking over to his desk, not seeing the hurt look on Merlin's paling handsome features.
