Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the Alex Rider series, Anthony Horowitz does and he is amazing.
A teenager was crouching beside a dumpster. His hands are rubbing his acing legs. He has been sitting there for about two hours. The teenager slowly stood up and began stretching his legs. He was pretty tall for a fourteen year old boy. His blond hair rustling is the cold November wind, uncovering his brown eyes. The eyes didn't reflect a teenage soul; no these were the eyes of a veteran.
Alex slowly started walking to the end of the ally, sticking to the wall for cover. This was supposed to be a easy mission. Sneak in, gain information and get out without getting spotted. Only lady luck wasn't by his side this evening. The streets were empty, this was not surprising as it was around 3 a.m. Alex decided to risk the crossing of the street and started running. He was out of breath after his six mile run to a safe house. These safe houses belonged to his employee, the MI6. Inside of the safe house were only the basics. A bunk, toilet, sink, camping stove, army rations and a first aid kit. The first thing Alex did was grabbing the first aid kit and taking his shirt off. He revealed a chest with a nasty bullet wound scar and a large gash on his side. That happened while he was fleeing from his targets. He wasn't cautious enough so he made a stupid mistake and paid the price. First he cleaned the wound with some water, making sure that there was no dirt in the wound and finished with putting antibacterial cream on the wound. After assessing the wound he made the decision to put butterfly bandages on the wound to make sure that the skin stays together and so the scar wouldn't be too big. As a final touch he put a bandage around his torso. After cleaning his wound he collapsed on to the bunk and let himself drift into a semi- sleep.
He woke up to the sound off the safety taken off of a gun. His body reacted faster than his fear of guns. He threw himself to the sound while throwing his quilt on top of the enemy. The man started cursing and attempted to get it off. Alex reacted by kicking the man into the stomach and rushing to the nearest exit. He was in no shape to fight and he knew it. Fear started to creep up on him.
Ladies and gentlemen, this was my prologue. More will follow.
