My Happy Ending By Avril Lavinge

A blonde haired girl sat with her knees against her chest. Rocking back and forth. She started thinking of what happened with her now ex boyfriend Lance McCoy.

Let's talk this over

She wanted to know what made him change right in front of her eyes. He started liking guys and she was so confused She wanted to know why he did it. They were in love. Or so she thought.

Don't leave me hanging

Her friends kept telling her that he isn't worth crying over, but she had been crying over him for the past 3 and half months because of what they had been through. She wanted to be with him, but she also knew that they shouldn't be together because of him dating her brother now.

She said to herself softly. "Sydney This isn't worth it. He's a coward and never loved you. Arty does. She wanted him to know that she was hurting, and didn't know how to heal. Arty had helped her along the way.

We were meant to be, supposed to be, but we lost it
And all of the memories, so close to me, just fade away
All this time you were pretending

Sydney turned around and noticed no one was behind her. She went thought a memory, of her and lance, Brandy and Jo, Arty and Anna, and Ryan and Tedra. Everyone was so happy. But then everyone broke apart. First Brandy and Jo left because she wanted to become an actress and Arty and Anna broke up because she wanted to be with Ryan. Ryan dumped Tedra because nothing was going anywhere, and Lance and Sydney were still together, but then, Lance started to like Guys but then, he started hitting on Brandy. Sydney was upset that she broke up with him, and tried to drown her self because of the pain. Luckily Arty saved her and told her its okay to cry.

You've got your dumb friends

They tell you I'm difficult
But so are they

Sydney then went to the memory of Lance and Brandy dating. When she first seen this she took off running once again, and hid in a tree. Arty knew that she was wanting the pain to go away. It got to the point where Arty told Brandy, "You have got to quit pushing your's and Lance's relationship in front of Sydney. SHE"S DEVASTATED!"

Sydney got up and started walking up closer to the lake, taking off her shoes and dipping her feet into the cold water, trying to relax. She leaned her head back and looked up at the sky. She realized that she was getting over Lance. But very slowly.

It's nice to know that you were there
Thanks for acting like you cared
And making me feel like I was the only one
It's nice to know we had it all
Thanks for watching as I fall
And letting me know we were done

Sydney got out, dried her feet off, and looked into the water. She had a picture of her and lance hugging and kissing. She kept this because of the happier times she had. She then ripped it up, and slowly dropped it into the water. She finally had given closure, and it was finally 6 months later.

Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh...
