Zero system
Chapter one: prelude to a nightmare

It was a cold night to him but then again they were all cold nights, this war that they were in did that to them. Often he wondered why after all it wasn't like any thing would change is it, there would always be some ruler, or origination, or some "peace loving " foundation ready to take power at the first opportunity. No nothing had changed, except for him the god of death, yah that was him. Duo Maxwell thinking about his life. Well not much of a life any more not since A.C.195 that fateful day almost half a year ago ... has it been that long ,"yes it has" a voice behind him said. "What" Duo replied as he turned around to face the cobalt blue eyes that were fresh off the latter to the roof of the safe house. "I said it has been about a half a year since we came to earth. Hard to believe isn't it. It seams like yesterday." "Speak for yourself," the braided pilot interjected "If I dint know better Id say we've been here a lifetime. I guess that's what war does to you ." "Hn." Was the only response . "Your impossible." "No just a trained killer." Heero responded. "Well I could do what you do. " Duo replied. Heero just laughed. Oh yah you'll see. The next day Duo was inside just being Duo until finely hunger struck so he went to the refrigerator unfortunately all he saw was some peanut butter that looked like it had been in there since the great war. "Humph.well lets see whose turn it is to shop, ah its Heero's. " Duo said as he strolled to his partners room . Dou knocked on Heero's door getting the response "What do you want." "Heero go shopping. It's your turn." "No." "Yes." Duo Said with a final tone in his voice. The door opened and a head emerged that said "alright stay out of my room and if you touch wing I will kill you."
As Heero left Duo said ok Q and T are out on a mission, Wu-man is out some where and said I won't be back for a while. Duo was thinking about running a simulation using the zero system. "Ok Maxwell you will never get another chance like this" he wisperd as he headed towards the hanger.
Authors notes: well this is the first chapter next time Duo activates the zero system. And gets a startling look at his childhood and realizes why he is shnigami. (episode zero spoilers)
