"SIR!"
"What is it now, Minion? I'm working on de-evilizing the SpiderBot!" the blue alien shouted from the other room, irritated that he was being bothered while in the midst of a project.
"I keep hearing these weird noises," his fishy friend replied.
"In your head…?"
"No! Around the Lair! I think we have… a ghost."
"Oh, silly Minion! There are no such things as ghosts! You should know this. Didn't we have this discussion after the incident of '06?
"Yes…"
The incident of '06 was not pretty.
"Snap out of it and get back to work!"
Megamind had a firm belief in the paranormal: that it didn't exist.
However, he began to hear the sounds, too. Nevertheless, he denied it to protect his ego.
Unexpectedly, something shouted "BOO!" and Megamind leapt out of his seat and screamed like a little girl.
"Hahahahahaha!" Minion cackled. "I can't believe you fell for that! That's payback for mocking me in 2006."
"Why'd you think you'd be allowed to pull that trick on me?!"
"Roxanne told me to." He pointed to the hidden reporter in the corner of the room.
Megamind glared right into her eyes. "Not. Funny."
Minion and Roxanne just laughed.
