She's been running and running for months. Diana had no idea how she had survived this far, but she had and as she ran past a tree she felt safer all of a sudden. she stopped and panted. Diana was greeted by a boy with sea-green eyes that looked at her quizzically.
"Annabeth!" the boy hollered. A blonde haired girl jogged over from the basketball court. Her eyes softened when she saw the little girl.
"Hey there, who are you?" she asked gently.
"I'm Diana." the girl replied softly
"And where are you from?" Annabeth smiled
"New York." the girl widened her silvery yellow eyes and stared at Annabeth's grey eyes, "The monsters are after me. I'm not crazy."
"No you aren't." Percy agreed. When Percy spoke, Diana seemed to shrink down as if he was a monster.
Annabeth held the girl's hand, "Well Diana, let's talk to Chiron. He'll let you stay here where you're safe from the monsters."
The girl nodded and let herself be pulled toward the Big House. When Chiron saw the little girl his eyes became as big as watermelons. He pulled Percy aside. "Do you recognize the girl?"
Percy bit his lip and looked back at the auburn haired girl behind him, "Yes." he answered honestly.
Percy raised his eyebrows, "But how is there a daughter of Artemis?"
