Hi I'm new here on Fanfiction. This is my first fanfic, so please give me as much criticism that is needed so I can make this story enjoyable. So without further adieu let's get right to it.
Hi the name is Armin Grau, I'm seventeen-years-old, I have black spiky hair, blue eyes, have tan skin, and I'm from the Ariecor region. I live in Gengin Town. I'm going to tell you about my Pokemon adventure and how it started. So kick back, relax, and hear my story.
Everything was dark and I was dreaming about receiving my first Pokemon from Professor Bonsai he was a twenty-three-year-old man with dark skin, short black hair, wore white pants, black dress shoes, and a white lab coat with a black t-shirt. I was in his lab and saw three pokeballs in front of me. "Now choose wisely." he said "Because the one you choose will be your greatest friend on your adventure." I looked eagerly at the pokeball on the right because the Water-type starter was always on the right. I reached my hand grabbed the pokeball and my was trembling because of the excitement, as I'm about to throw the pokeball to see what pokemon is inside I hear a buzzing noise.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! I open my eyes and looked at my Blastoise alarm clock and turned it off. I layed back down for a few seconds and gazed at my ceiling "My adventure starts today." I whispered gleefully to myself. I sat up, lifted up the blanket, and swung my legs from the bed to the floor. I stood and walked to my dresser on the left side of my bed, opened up the drawers, and changed into my clothes. I went to the mirror right next the dresser and liked my outfit. I had a black t-shirt, with a grey jacket (I didn't zip up my jacket), had blue jeans, black sneakers with white laces, and had my golden pokeball pendant on (It was a gift from my dad before he died). I looked in the mirror for a little my longer "Armin get down here so you don't miss breakfast and your adventure!" my mother yelled "Okay coming right down!" I didn't want to miss my adventure. So i rushed down the steps.
I entered the kitchen then I smelled the aroma of bacon and eggs, my favorite. "Well Armin are you excited for adventure today?" As I sat down at the table had my first bite of the eggs I said "Heck yeah mom!"
"So what's your starter pokemon gonna be?"
"Well I always liked Water-type starters so."
"Oh really hahahaha just like your father." she said with a sad gaze in her eye.
"Well hey don't get sad mom please for me?"
"Okay" she wiped a tear from her face and smiled. I just kept eating while she talked about how her and dad's pokemon together when they were ten-years-old. I always liked her and dad's misadventures. I looked at the Meowth clock on the wall it had 7:21 on it. "Well mom I better get going I don't want to be late." I said as I got up and ran out the door. My mom came to the doorway and yelled "Don't forget to call 5 times a day!" "Okay!" I said knowing she was only kidding around. I was running towards Professor Bonsai's lab. "HEEEEEEEY ARMIN!" I knew exactly who that was that was my friend Rey Takashi. He ran up beside me he was a dark skinned boy, seventeen-years- old, with a short black afro, brown eyes, black pants, red shirt, black boots, and black fingerless gloves. "So today is the big day!" he said happily. "I know I'm hella excited!" I exclaimed. We kept on running we reached the Professor's Lab and at the door we saw Rey and I's other friends. Our other friends were Momoko Fujioka, Sasha Johnson, and Xavier Wright. Momoko is a sixteen-year-old, ivory skinned girl, with shoulder-length aqua blue hair, she was wearing a white t-shirt, black short-skirt, black-leggings, she has a B cup, and white shoes with red stripes on the side. Sasha is a seventeen-year-old, ivory skinned girl, with long, golden blonde hair in a ponytail few of her bangs covered her left eye, with a black t-shirt, a purple long-sleeved vest, tight white jeans, purple shin-high boots with black laces, and purple fingerless gloves. Xavier is a seventeen-year-old, tan skinned boy, with long slicked back maroon hair, with a green jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
As Rey and I approached our friends we said waved hello they waved back except Xavier he just looked away with his arms crossed and said
"Hmph took you guys long enough."
"Sorry we were late." I said.
"Yeah yeah let's just out Pokemon already."
"Okay no need to be a hothead." Rey said.
"Well since Momoko and I already have Pokemon we'll just wait out here." Sasha said.
"WAIT YOU TWO HAVE POKEMON!" Rey yelled.
"Well yeah I have a Happiny since I want to be a nurse and Sasha has an Eevee." Momoko chimed in.
"Yeah I'm gonna evolve my Tinkerbell into a beautiful Sylveon!" Sasha said with her hands clamped together and on her right cheek. Rey and I started laughing.
"Hey what's so funny?" she said angrily with her hands on her hips.
"TINKERBELL!" we chuckled out.
"Aren't you suppose to be getting Pokemon anyways losers!" she yelled. Rey and I stopped laughing because an angry Saahs equals bad day. So Rey, Xavier, and I walked into the Lab. "Hi Professor Bonsai." we all said.
"Oh hey there guys well you're right on time. Follow me." We followed him to the big part of the lab. in the big lab there was a whole bunch of equipment and a desk with three pokeballs on it.
"So where are these starters from Bonsai?" Xavier asked.
"They're from the Kalos Region." Professor Bonsai said.
"Woah sweet!" Rey and I looked at eachother and said.
"So uhhhh wait a minute what are their names? Rey asked with a nervous grin.
"YOU IDIOT DO EVEN STUDY THE OTHER REGIONS!" Xavier exclaimed.
"WOAH BOYS! No need for fighting and I'll be more than happy to tell you. The one on the right is the Grass-type starter Chespin, the one in the middle is the Fire-type starter Fennekin, and the last one is the Water-type starter Froakie." Professor Bonsai explained. We all looked in awe. "Now remember to choose carefully because the Pokemon you choose will be your friend forever." he said.
Xavier walked up first "I'll take Fennekin." he said smugly.
"I'll take Chespin!" Rey said excitedly he reached and took the pokeball.
"YES! I get Froakie!" As I reached eagerly for the pokeball.
"Well great, but I forgot to give you these." he reached into his back pocket and took out three PokeDexes and handed one each of us.
"Awesome! Thanks!" Rey said.
"Wow! Thank you!" I said
"Cool." Xavier said
"Welcome boys, you know how to use'em right?" he looked at Rey.
"Yep." Xavier and I said.
"Why are looking at me? Of course I do!. Rey exclaimed.
"Good. Well see ya boys later."
"See ya Professor Bonsai." we said in unison as Rey, Xavier walked out the door. We each threw out our Pokemon to look at them. Froakie who I nicknamed Azure is a frog who has light blue skin, white hands, and a dark blue stripe from the center of its oval head to its nose. Its eyes, which have yellow sclera, black irises, and white pupils, protrude vertically from its head due to their size. Has a large mane of bubbles from its chest and back and has two small bubbles on its nose. He looked so cute and awesome. Rey's Chespin who he nicknamed Rook is a mammalian Pokemon that has a light brown front with dark brown arms and three triangular markings on its face. There is a tough, green shell covering its back, which extends from its head to halfway down its tail. There is a small, off-center hole in the shell on the back of Chespin's head. The shell can protect Chespin from powerful attacks. Around the face, the shell has four leaf-like spikes, and one split into three parts on the back of its head. Chespin's oval eyes are brown, and it has a triangular red nose and rodent-like incisors. Its arms have three fingers, while its feet have two long claws. The visible part of its tapered tail is orange. Xavier' Fennekin is a fox-like Pokemon who has It is covered in pale yellow fur that is longer on its haunches. Tufts of dark orange fur cover the insides of its large ears, and it has a white muzzle with longer fur on its cheeks. It has large, dark orange eyes and a pointed, black nose. When its mouth is open, two pointed teeth can be seen in its upper jaw. Fennekin also has small paws with no visible toes and slim legs. Its tail is fluffy with a dark orange tip.
"Wow you're Pokemon are so cool Armin, Rey, and Xavier." said Momoko.
"I like Azure, Armin." Sasha said.
"Hehe thanks." I said.
"Yeah yeah whatever, so Armin you want to battle?" Xavier said with an intense determination look in his eyes. I looked back at him with same intensity.
"Let's do it!" I shouted.
