The most important question

AN: For quit a while I have loved reading time travel fics. I think this has to do with one of my favourite stories from my youth, The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder. I do not count time travel fics as a part of the Potter universe but really fun AUs. I have been writing my own, but that takes forever to finish. This shortcut is based on that story, but is not the same as the original one. As many other next gen time travels there is a question round, and Molly has a very important question to ask. The story is set in mid July between Harry´s fifth and sixth year.

"How many of my children do actually finish their education?" Molly asked, casting a glans at Fred and George.

"Only three Weasley finished Hogwarts." Teddy said with a smirk.

"What?" Molly bursted out "only Bill, Charlie and Percy have their N.E.W.T.s?" What about Ron and Ginny, and Harry and Hermione?"

"Well. As I said only three Weasley finished Hogwarts. I didn´t say anything about not getting N.E.W.T.s. As you know, Bill, Charlie and Percy have already finished. George and Fred did almost finish but decided to leave before the exams. However, they needed to study a lot more to be able to develop their products. Harry, Ron and Hermione didn't come back for their seventh year, since they were forced on the run. Or actually, Ron could have continued since he was pureblood, and not the most wanted criminal as Harry, or Muggleborn as Hermione, but he descided to follow them on the run and fight Voldemort alongside them. When the war ended in May 1998 they got the choose to come back to Hogwarts for what would be an eight year. Hermione excepted of course and took her N.E.W.T.s a year delayed. Harry and Ron decided to join the Auror office and actually sat their N.E.W.T.s in the beginning of the training without knowing it and passed with good grades. Ginny joined Hermione for the seventh year. However, she did not sit the exams as a Weasley. Over the Easter holydays Ginny became a Potter* and therefor finished Hogwarts, not as a Weasley, but a Potter. So only three Weasley did finish Hogwarts, but seven out of nine of your children did take their N.E.W.T.s. Even though all of your children didn't follow the normal education, they all did very well."

* In my other fics Ginny and Harry does not get married before Ginny has finised her seventh year at Hogwarts.
