"You tink I jez let chew go?" The old crackled Cajun voice hissed, "Youz juss gunna stay poot,'til Marie saz you go." Phoebe jerked violently, the voice sent chills down her spine. "Marie, no fall fo yo trick no mo." The old black woman held out her hand which clutched a tattered voodoo doll. "Yo stay Manawa; yo stay 'til Marie let youz go. In te doll were light be cold," Marie plunged a single pin into the doll, "In te doll youz trick no mo." Phoebe watched as the pale face man vanished into mist. The vision ended as quickly as it had begun. Phoebe shaken and confused rose from her seat and stumbled into hallway. The Book of Shadows she thought, and made her way slowly up the stairs.

"You'll do fine", shoving a croissant in her hand, "Now move it Sister, Love you" Grabbing her bag," Me too" and out the door she went.

Piper shook her head and laughed inwardly, clutching her cup to her chest.
