Hiro was making dinner with Aunt Cass for his friends, since he invited them over for their New Year's Eve party.
Baymax cuddled with Mochi, Aunt Cass's cat. "Hairy baby."
"Baymax, do you want to help us cook?" Hiro asked. "They're for my friends."
"That's sick," Baymax said, "It's just an expression." He set the cat down and started cooking with them.
"He gets that from me," Hiro laughed.
Aunt Cass chuckled with him. "I'm sure of it because you remade him."
"Wait! How did you know?"
"You told me."
Hiro smiled ruefully at her.
"And presto!" Aunt Cass exclaimed, seeing that the enchiladas were finished. "All finished!" Then, she and her nephew put them on the plate for them to cool down and everything was ready, thanks to Hiro.
"Happy New Year, Aunt Cass," Hiro said.
"Happy New Year, sweetie," Aunt Cass replied.
"Happy New Year," said Baymax.
Mochi meowed.
"Baymax, would you like to feed him?" Aunt Cass offered.
Baymax picked up a bag of dry cat food, spilling only a little as he carried it all the way to Mochi's dish bowl, and poured it inside.
Mochi eagerly hopped over to his bowl to eat his supper and thanked Baymax by rubbing himself against healthcare companion's leg, purring.
Hiro and Aunt Cass took a moment to enjoy the touching scene. "Aww." Their poignant moment ended briefly when they heard a door knock.
"I think it's them," Hiro said and went over to open the door for his friends.
"Happy New Year, Hiro!" Gogo, Wasabi, Fred, and Honey Lemon exclaimed.
"Happy New Year, guys," Hiro said.
"Happy New Year," Baymax greeted.
"Wow! I want to hug you!" Fred exclaimed as he leapt into Baymax's arms.
"Be careful, Fred," Hiro warned lightly.
"You could've squished him, Fred," Wasabi scolded.
Baymax set Fred down gently.
"Kids, I have music, while we celebrate," Aunt Cass told them.
"Alright!" Fred and the others exclaimed.
Aunt Cass turned on the radio and everyone ate, danced, and sang.
"So what is your New Year's resolution, Hiro?" Honey Lemon asked.
"Remembering Tadashi," Hiro replied.
"And?" Gogo prodded.
"Saving the world with you guys."
"Because we're always here when you need us most, Hiro," Gogo assured him.
Hiro grinned, then turned to Baymax. "Baymax, what is your New Year's resolution?"
"I'll continue to take care of my patients," Baymax answered.
"And?" Hiro and his classmates pushed further.
"And save the world with you."
"It's midnight!" Aunt Cass told them.
"Yeah!" Fred shouted.
"Look! A shooting star!" Wasabi cried out, looking out the window.
"How cool is that?!" Fred beamed and they all took a glimpse at the shooting star.

"Daddy, what is your New Year's resolution?" Abigail asked her father, Professor Callaghan.
"I will take care of you and make sure I won't lose you again," he answered, "But I promise you that you'll still be able to make your dreams come true."
Abigail smiled sweetly. "Thanks, Daddy and my New Year's resolution is trying to be careful." And she and her father hugged.
