No Need to Talk
I don't own Harry Potter, nor these characters.
There was never any need to talk when he was with her – at times, he felt that she knew him better than he knew himself. There was no need for any words to muddle their perfect understanding of the other – no words such as "I love you" to complicate their relationship.
She knew that he loved her; he knew that she loved him. That was all that mattered, after all. It didn't matter that he was married, that his wife was expecting a child, that they were fighting on the opposite sides of a war.
"Death Eater" and "Member of the Order" were just words, after all; words that kept them apart.
When they were together, they were silent.
There was no need to talk at all.
