Gunfire Waltz, Ellis style

A friend said that Gunfire Waltz wasn't phrased like something Ellis would say. I said "Of course not - an Ellis style poem? That would be terrible!" But the idea wouldn't go away, so I did a little 'translation' - and here it is. Purely for fun!

You're, like, real pretty 'n stuff but you're really mean, too

And you always have this sorta cold look in your eyes

But you're really good at kissing so I don't mind much

Even when bad stuff is happening, like this whole apocalypse thing

Anyway, I guess my point is that I like you more than I hate zombies.
