Iruka walked into the living room after his shower and found Kakashi with his face covered with a certain orange book. Iruka nearly snorted, Gives a new meaning to 'nose buried in the books'. He silently walked over to the napping man and hovered over him. The older man didn't stir. Iruka smiled down at him. Knowing that the jounin trusted him enough to fall into deep sleep, it made Iruka's heart flutter. He gently lifted the book to reveal the sleeping pale face.

The chunin's eyes softened to see the older man so relaxed and peaceful. Silver strands naturally splayed of the pale forehead, lips slightly parted as the man slept. His eyes traveled over the older man's features and felt himself blush, but he couldn't help it. The older man, he was just…

Gorgeous, Iruka sighed and lightly trailed a finger along the vertical scar, falling to the curve of the jawline. He leaned down and gave the parted lips a chaste kiss. The older man didn't stir, only sighed in his sleep. His smile grew as he leaned down to give the sleeping man another kiss, this time more bolder. The jounin kissed back lazily, and Iruka pulled away, a blush painting his cheeks.

"Sorry, couldn't help it," he chunin let out a nervous chuckle, feeling slightly guilty for waking his lover.

"Hmm," the mismatched eyes fluttered closed again, "I like you kisses," he grinned, "No, correction, I love your kisses. So you can kiss me while I sleep whenever you want." Iruka smiled and leaned back down and gave the pale man another kiss, a pale hand held him in place by the back of his neck, pulling him down, laying him on top of the older man. The kisses became light caresses. Iruka snuggled closer to the older man, shifting and wedging so he laid half on the older man, and between the back of the couch, resting his head on the man's shoulder. His hand resting over his lover's heart, feeling its pulse. It rose and fell with the older man's breathing.

Kakashi lolled his head towards Iruka, resting his cheek on the crown of the brunette's head. The pale hand on the chunin's shoulder rubbed the bicep a few times before becoming still again. Iruka felt his eyelids become heavy as they fluttered shut, being lulled to sleep by the other man's breathing and warmth.

They fell asleep on the couch, both too lazy to move to the bed, and reluctant to separate. It was just as good anyway.
